Venture for her part was silent the entire time, a blank thousand mile stare facing a wall.  Occasionally, her eyes would dart back and forth following something only she could see, her horn lighting up momentarily. Eventually, when the proverbial sh*t hit the fan, she spoke. A smile lighting up her face.

"Got ya!"

Starkey sidesteps, letting the enraged Carrot barrel past him, before bringing the blunt back of his axe down hard on the back of his neck.

I scream "NO!" then fall over, knocked out cold.

(Been following the back and forth all night. Was unable to join in as I was at my Shadowrun game. Have a few things to say in character before the scene is finished and fort continues on. Also, as Freisden is definitely the only pony with a couple of the medical skills in the entire fort, I would like to have it decided weather or not she is being released to help the wounded or not before continuing the game and having a zero skilled pony patch them up, although it looks like an early release won't be happening. Not expecting anyone to see this before morning but going to post it now anyway.)

Charity makes her way down the stairs into the guard's floor. She looks out at the scene before her. Commander Starkey standing with his ax in hand, and Sargent Carrot unconscious on the ground. She gasps.

 "Commander! What is going on here! I was coming to talk with Khenal and I heard all this yelling! EXPLAIN!"

[Dsarker]

"Khenal came for him, Charity. Khenal came to kill him. And he nearly succeeded...."

[KingStrongbeard]

Charity walks closer and peers in through the bars at Freisden. She sees all the writing, on the walls. Is quite for a moment and then whispers to Starkey.

"Commander" emphasis is placed upon the title, "I don't know why you knocked out the Sargent, but I trust you can explain it later. Take him to the infirmary, and restrain him in a traction bench if you think he's dangerous."

(Since Impending Doom said he was going to sleep for the night I will momentarily assume he does this.)

Charity walks up to the cell, and says in the most soothing voice she can.

"Freisden, what is with all this writing? Why have you defaced all of Theropod's artwork? And why do you think Khenal is responsible for any of this."

[Dsarker]

"Peytral told me, miss. That's why I had to record it! Couldn't let it be hidden."

[KingStrongbeard]

Charity looks genuinely surprised.

"Peytral?!" Charity files that particular claim in the back of her mind to investigate later.

 "Listen Friesden. I came down here to talk with Khenal because one of the guard told me that they had found your diary, and that in it you were fighting with, presumably yourself. Now I haven't read it myself yet, but if what they told me is true, and from the state of your cell. I can tell one thing. Friesden, you are very sick. And my dear friend, it pains me to say this, but you may be beyond our ability to help. Khenal, is a trustworthy pony, and I trust him with my life, I can't believe he would do this, to you or any pony."

[Dsarker]

Friesden rose up.

"You -accuse- me of LYING? How DARE YOU! I know Khenal has done this!"
