Starkey opts to let Khenal handle Carrot himself: he would probably only serve to agitate Carrot further. Instead, he approaches Friesden, offering her a hoof.

My horn shines as I point it at Carrot, preparing my sleep spell.

"I warned you about calming down."

I release the spell, letting it flow into Carrot and hoping his fear wont overcome his injuries and magical exhaustion.
