((I haven't proclaimed him DEAD. just dead as a rock. ))
Khenal sees a slowly growing pool of blood forming around Psycho AND notes that his breathing is becoming more and more stained and his heart beat is slowing.

[Rentorian]

"I, uhhh, know this is a bad time so I won't press you any furhter for information on Friesden's 'him'.  I'd suggest keeping watch over the remains, just in case he decides to come back again."

Got work in six hours.  G'night everypony.  If you need Granite he'll be wandering around the halls toaling to himself until Negs wakes back up.

[Khenal]

I don't register Granite's words or his exit, as I'm too busy trying not to panic and figure out a way to save Carrot.

'Blood!  Lots of blood!  Um...oh!'  My horn glows as I turn Carrot so his wound is pointed up, trying to keep his blood in him with the simple help of gravity.  In a flash of desperation, I call to Friesden.

"Friesden!  Do you remember how to heal ponies?"

[Dsarker]

"I'm a monster. How could you trust me?"

[Khenal]

"Because you can ask that question!  You may have been a monster in the past, but you don't have to keep being one!"

[Dsarker]

"I...I can try. One condition."

[Khenal]

"What?"

[Dsarker]

"I want you to remove my memory. I want to forget everything. I know you can do it. I don't know your name, but I remember you now."

[Khenal]

"I..."

'I can't!  She's finally making progress, finally interacting like a normal pony!  But...Carrot doesn't have much time, I don't think I could get him to the hospital quick enough.  I can't just lie to her either, that'd be even worse than making her forget everything!'

"...I'll try.  Locking away memories isn't easy, and there is never a guarantee they will stay sealed.  But I will try, just please save Carrot!"

I levitate my keys to Friesden's cell and unlock it.

[Dsarker]

Friesden hurries out. She looks at the pony on the ground, and takes his pulse. All the while, memories of her past are flooding back. While she would ordinarily not welcome them, now she has a chance to remove them completely she'll do whatever it takes.

[Khenal]

"Is...there anything I can do to help?"

[The Master]

The pulse at this point is so weak that Friesden doesn't even notice it at first.

[Dsarker]

"Fetch some medical equipment. Something to sterilise them, too. I don't know much about putting ponies together...more taking them apart." She says the last part under her breath.

[Khenal]

I try to remember what kind of things were in the hospital, and where I might get anything similar.  Clean cloth: fresh bed sheets, just down the hall.  Surgical equipment: the armory should have some daggers.  Maybe the one from my leg?  Sterilizer: strong booze?

"Um, on it!"  I dash off to get the improvised medical tools.

[Dsarker]

Friesden inspects the wound as best she can, and a familiar memory comes flooding back. She forces it away for now.
