"And another not so friendly face to talk to!" I cry i delight.  "Apparently jail is a real good place to get someone to talk to while the voice in your head is on vacation!"

[Khenal]

I eye Granite warily.

"Are you alright, or do I need to get you a cell also?  And what did you do to upset Friesden?"

[Rentorian]

"As long as I keep talking I'm alright.  It's when I'm quiet that you need to really worry," I assure Khenal. 
"Negs is asleep now though... It's quiet without him..." my voice trails off for a second before I smile again.
"As for Friesden we had a discussion about monsters, I'm apparently worse than the notgood pony, ate her, and took him away.  Whoever him is...  You wouldn't happen to know this mysterious him would you?

[The Master]

I reach my hoofs through the spaces in the bars and attempt to choke Granite.

[Rentorian]

I quickly wrest myself free from Carrot's grasp and move judiciously away from the cell.
"And could you tell me why he's going nuts... Again?" I ask eying Carrot warily.

[Khenal]

"If I had to guess, I'd say it was those syringes in his back.  They look...wrong and I'm not sure I should remove them.  As far as the identity of the 'notgood pony'..."

I sigh and look Granite in the eyes.

"I'm pretty sure it's me."

[Rentorian]

"I was wondering more about who it was that was taken away from Friesden.  Apparently it's now my fault and I want to at least be able to taunt her properly about it if the need arises.  Not that my ignorance seemed to make her any warmer to me.  Would I be able to just make things up on the spot then?"

[The Master]

"DIE! DIE KHENAL! don't you want to die like I did?" Psycho abruptly asks in a disturbingly civil tone.
"Oh, and that was Schmoe." Psycho says calmly to Granite before reverting back to foaming-at-mouth insanity.

[Dsarker]

Psycho pulls off his adamantine earing and uses it to easily cut through the bars like butter. He then manages to stab Khenal in the left ear.

[Khenal]

I give Granite a look of steel and ice, totally ignoring Carrot for a moment.

"Do.  Not.  Provoke.  Her.  If she is to have any hope of anything, she needs to be shown compassion and caring and everything else good that she has never known before."

Keeping my eyes on Granite, I raise my voice to address Carrot's question.  "No thank you, Carrot.  I'd like to delay my meeting with the reaper as long as possible, thank you."

Unfortunately for me, I fail to notice Carrot escape the cell.  At least until he stabs me.

Psycho slashes Khenal in the back from behind with the earing.

[Rentorian]

Not waiting for anyone to tell me not to hurt anyone I bring my pick around and swing it at Pycho's legs.

[Khenal]

I blindly buck behind me in pure reaction from the stab to the ear and slash across my back.
