"Was in charge of a hostage rescue in the upper north side o' Tailentranced. Bunch o' seditioners kidnapped th' baron's son. Long story short, shit went south fast an' we lost th' hostage an' half th' team. Me captain was furious. I cared more 'bout th' lads I lost. Said a few things I shouldna, words came t' blows, now I'm here."

She sits up in bed, looking towards the doorway.

"Say, has th' cap'n told you anythin' 'bout how he got here?"
