Alex dives to avoid a piece of shattered rock, losing sight of his target momentarily.  He regains sight of it just as it swings at him, clipping one arm.  Cursing, he moves to the side with a damaged arm, stabbing it in the lower torso and tearing upward with his claws.  He slashes with his other arm, but his elbow is hurt, and he doesn't really get much force behind the swing.  The creature staggers back, roaring, and he dodges it's next swipe, and stabs it under the chin.  Tearing out his claws, he turns to check the situation.

Aaron dives to get behind a beam, he knows that he will have to find a weapon fast. The ape starts looking for him, tearing up beams.
"Fuck fuck fuck!"
One beam falls down, and hits Aaron on the head, he stumbles around to notice, that the ape's skull is crushed!
"Thats done."
He starts running for a car, "Need to get away from this!" He does find a car, a crappy one at that, but it will do.
He gets in, and puts the petal to the metal, speeding off, but, he does not know if he will get away....

Arthur had been monitoring the situation through television channels. All this commotion was very interesting for people to watch, across the tv anyway, and several camera crews had set themselves up at a safe distance and even a couple of helicopters were up in the air.

All this meant that Arthur had a rather good overview of the situation. And with access to military missiles, also the ability to control it. The military naturally, was not happy about that. Not shutting things down was the biggest mistake they could make, and it wouldnt be long before they understood that. Arthur decided to do all he could before that happened.

All he could, meant all the missiles under his control. All 7 of them. Aiming for the largest groups as far away from the supers as possible, the missiles flew in a large arc that was necessary to not fly into any building in the way of getting to the destination.

Only problem was that Arthur couldnt in the future really tell anyone about the fact that he controlled military missile drones, without getting himself killed by the most likely angry owners.

Aaron gets away.
He finds out that instead of a road he was driving into, he was driving into a pile of barrels.
"Fuck...."
Everything around him went to hell, barrels flying everywhere, one even hit him.
"AAARRH"
He falls asleep for a moment, probably making his body more stable, before waking up.

Kine responds. "If you say so officer, I suppose that I will enjoy killing them." Kine took off his jacket and wrapped it around his waist, letting his tentacles come out. He ran towards the nearest building, and began climbing up it with his tentacles stabbing it and propeling him forward.

Not for the first time, Karl wonders what they did to him...

Anyhow, orders are orders. Karl headed from the lab/workshop that passess for his bedroom and into the adjoining armoury to gear up. Over the years Karl has managed to reduce the time taken for this unpleasant process down to just under 40 mins with the assistance from a few technicians. The Urban Warfare loadout for Karls powered armour cast an imposing shadow - matte black, semi stealth, and before Karl steps into the carapace it resembles a hollowed out man. The suit raises Karls height from 5 ft 10 to 6 ft 4, and his weght from 85 kg to close to 450kg. The armour is integrated fully with The Gun (providing a range of ammunition types from flechettes to HE, but far from unlimited in quantity), and enhances Karls speed, strength, sensory apparatus and provides up to the second tactical updates from those that control him. On the down side, it is rather clumsy, and prone to overheating. There is also a small but measurable delay in the relay from thought to suit action, but over the years Karl has learnt that this problem can be solved by liberal use of firepower. It protects well from conventional, biological and chemical attacks, and bears a few small scars where it has proven its worth against small arms fire. The suit can also survive high explosive damage and long drops - however, it still carries a human, and Karl would not survive either.

As the suits sytems come into life, Karl forms his plan of action. Who or whatever in this city of freaks hijacked the drone was using it for thier own ends. His search would start at the site of the missile impact. No doubt this would neccesitate the engagement of some of these "apes", which along with the plight of the cops caught in the crossfire and any other "supers" are of little or no concern to Karl, but this would more likley than not bring him closer to whoever was his designated quarry. After what feels like far too long for the suits life support to establish a closed cycle, the techs give him the ok and Karl moves to the compunds helipad, where a modified chinook awaits. As soon as Karl is aboard the pilot wastes no time in dusting off. The troopers on the chinook steer clear of Karl - his reputation tends to preceed him nowadays. From his vantage point Karl looks out the open rear ramp down to the city - the site of the incident is clear as the chopper rises - civilian and military choppers are circling a large swathe of the industrial sector where the glow of fire is set against the dark sky. A few checkpoints are visible in the foreground of the enhanced image provided by the suit, and Karl is suprised to find he is already aiming and calibrating The Gun for a long range shot before even thinking about it. The image moves away from his field of vision as the chopper clears the military compound and turns towards the industrial sector. Karl found himself wondering why anyone would want or need to take over a military drone...

Amanda Thorne     http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Rocket_Fists ((I figured that she'd have to have enhanced strength as well, in order to support and easily use the weight of a robotic limb))

The situation was getting ridiculous, really. This was supposed to be a simple job, hell, it had been a simple job. The safe she was breaking into was a fairly good one, but no match for her technology. No one was in the building, and the alarms had been deactivated, and the safe itself had been quite literally ripped open. With her arm, she saw no need to waste time with listening to tumblers or hacking through a lock, though she certainly could have. She had done so before she lost her arm, and had it replaced by a rather mysterious benefactor. She had been in the process of loading up the cash, gold, and papers from the safe into a backpack when the screaming had started outside.

A glance outside revealed the situation in a heartbeat, a group of strange apes were making a mess of the neighborhood. A couple of them were overturning a semi truck, and another was chasing one of the luckless man who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Worse news for her though, was the news helicopters flying overhead, pointing cameras every which way. So much for no one noticing her there. Besides, despite herself, she didn't really want to sit around and let the fleeing man get eaten. It was only a matter of seconds before the ape caught up to him.

Sighing, she put on the loaded backpack, and went up to the window of the story she was on, and opened it up. She aimed down with her robotic arm at the fleeing man, and fired. There was a soft whoosh, and her hand shot down to the man and landed neatly on the back of his collar. The man screamed and thrashed, probably thinking the ape had grabbed him. Fortunately, he didn't shake off the hand, which gripped his collar. The hand started flying up, hauling the man up to the window that Amanda had opened, and pulled him inside. The ape below howled angrily at its intended prey being snatched up out of its grasp.

"Shut up, and don't waste my time," Amanda said rather irritably, cutting off the man's gasping thanks as the hand reattached itself to her wrist. "Make for the stairwell, and go out the back door, it won't be locked," She paused a moment, and heard the ape from below climbing up the outside of the building to her floor. "And hurry. Things are going to get dicey around here." She added, as she heard the roaring ape approaching. The man scrambled away and out of the room as the ape came to the window. It's beady eyes fixed on Amanda, as it tore out the window and a good chunk of the wall. Amanda only brought up her metal arm again and aimed it at the ape.

"Sorry, saw King Kong already, and it sucked. Not in the mood for a sequel," She said, firing her fist again. Unlike the relatively gentle touch it had with the man, the hand shot off at full force this time. A blue thruster flame shot from the back of the hand as it rocketed towards the ape. The fist caught the ape square in the chest, blasting it back away from the building. Amanda just summoned her hand back as the ape screamed as it fell. "Now, to get out of here myself." She said, reattaching her hand and leaving the window.

Powder Talented Miner managed, barely, to sit up, in time to see an ape rushing towards him. With great pain and efort, he got out a pebble, and expanded it into a boulder, lifting the boulder into the air and smashing the ape to death with it. He continued trying to get up, struggling to get to his knees.

Alex, looking around for an opening, spots the man with a pickaxe in trouble.  Alex moves quickly to him, looking around for threats.  He sees no immediate ones, apparently the apes are losing.  He bends down and asks him if he is okay, reaching for his belt before realising he doesn't have it on.

If the short man is Powder Miner, Powder Miner is a human and is fairly tall.

Powder Talented Miner gets up with the man's help and explains that he was flung by an ape he was killing. He then walks painfully and sees another ape, who he hits with a boulder, unfortunately just a graze, making the thing angry.

Alex helps him up quickly, and then turns to the ape.  He extends his claws again and gets ready to jump out of the way of it's swing. "Wait until it has just swung, then attack.", he yells to anyone who may be facing it as well.

The ape swings, temporarily off balance so it get walloped by the boulder, hitting the ground.

Roydon watched with a cocked eyebrow as the seven missiles arced out of the sky all well controlled and slamming into their respective targets very nicely. Something was up, Maybe some type of fresh techomancer that might get himself killed by the military, What a shame. He shruged his head slightly as another Ape charged at him, slamming on its chest and unleashing its mighty breath. Sending Officer Roydon and the others around him tumbling back. Roydon suffered a few scrapes as he tumbled across the pavement and his gun skittered away from him. Breath, Man did he hate breath powers, They were just...gross, He thought to himself as he picked himself up, Sprinting at the Ape and laying a drop kick towards his head and bringing his fists up. The Horse doesnt just need a Gat.
