Nothing manipulating scientist:

The scientist begins to jot down information about the apes, mutants and other beings he sees fighting. He stops when he notices the ape carrying the bat mutant, there is an intense pang of familiarity, and he decides to investigate. Deciding to try his powers out some more, he runs towards the direction of the ape and the van, negating wind resistance and gravity around him as he launches himself from the building, flying like a bullet. He pulls his notepad back out and jots down more observations, mainly speculating about what kind of fascinating parasite the man wearing the hoodie may be afflicted with.

Zeox drove towards the trouble. When did I get a bike? he wondered. But it wasn't important. He could see a group of the apes up ahead. Quickly he manuevered the bike to send himself flying over a ramp. He then jumped off the bike in midair and began charging energy in his right hand. He flew towards the nearest gorilla and punched it in the center of it's chest. The released energy blew a hole through the creature and embedded Zeoxs arm in it's corpse. Zeox began trying to pull his arm free.

"Darnit it's stuck." Suddenly he noticed a group of apes advancing towards him.

(Sorry, but i guess its the they-have-captured me thing then)
Aaron struggles, but to no effect, But he sees a man writing stuff on a notepad, he suddenly yells
"HEY, YOU!" With his sonic scream.
He feels a intense craving for something in his mouth, he says:
"Urrgh, never had that feeling before."
But, without any reasoning behind it, he bites the ape in the neck, sucking out some blood.
The ape falls down, probably knocked out.

Be happy, I signed up just to post on this thread. After browsing for a bit, I actually did a proper try, and ended up with this:
http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Arachis_Hypogaealingualism
Brilliant. Just brilliant.

So I tried again, and got omnipotence, or something overpowered like that. Try again, and I got monster mimicry, which I like. A lot.
http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Monster_Mimicry

Time to have some fun with Jekyl and Hyde stuff. Maybe some peanuts thrown in. You never know.

John could feel it building up inside him, slowly taking control. He knew he shouldn't have left the warehouse, but he needed to breathe the air again, see other people, rather than be stuck inside with only the monster for company. he glanced down at his hand, it was already darkening, the grey tinge spreading down his veins, turning his flesh a nasty grey. He fought to slow down the change, to delay his inevitable fate. Quickly turning into a side alley, John gave up trying to fight the Monster, and let it take control, his limbs elongating and growing a hard exoskeleton, more bursting from his sides, flesh falling from his skull, leaving the terrifying visage of a skull where his face once was.
At once the Monster smashed one leg though a brick wall, the smashing of glass and the screams of a small family resulting. Drinking up the fear, the Monster turned his attention to the car right next to him. Plunging a pair of limbs into the body, it smashed the engine apart, spreading the wreckage around the alley.
The monster having somewhat sated it's appetite for destruction, John was able to wrest back control, and return to human form, forcing back the Monster to the recesses of his mind. Walking towards the opposite exit, John stopped dead in his tracks as a gorilla, 7 feet tall, came running round the corner, letting out a challenge towards John. The Monster, with a primal fury unknown to man, the Monster swept though John's mind, like a dark Tsunasmi, with only one purpose in mind: Destroy the challenger.

5 squares per limb, if you raise the north orthoclase bridge before sacrificing one of them so they have a straight shot to the bottom of the chasm.

"Hmm...theres 24 of them. I wonder if I am catalogued under engaged. Definately not a captured bat/human hybrid. And not the one gonna be killed presumably."
Arthur keeps the signal up in his mind and scours the military channels again, to see if he can find something useful. Only things he finds are military personell freaking out and tryng to figure out who shot the missile.

Arthur decides that he has had enough of getting killed for now and goes back to his apartment in the residential district.

He notices as the number of apes is reduced by 1, and the amount of supers increases by 1. For a moment he wonders if an ape rebelled against its master.

"Grr... dammit! Let me go!" Cursing her luck, Miyako struggles helplessly against the gorilla-creature's vice grip, with exactly the amount of success she'd expected- she might as well try pushing over a tank.

Minutes pass- gnawing at it's fingers is wholly ineffective, her left arm being pinned in an awkward position prevents her from sliding out of her hoodie, and everyone nearby seemed to be too busy dealing with the rest of the apes to hear her screaming.

As the ape dodges a barrage of explosions passing through an intersection, Miyako gives up struggling with a sigh, instead squinting ahead to try an see where it's taking her... and spots the van.

Large, white, unmarked and unassuming, parked in front of a store. It wouldn't be suspicious, but for the three apes guarding it... and in the back... cages.

Lots of cages.

"Oh hell." Could it be? Them? How could They be here so soon? How could They find her?

A man with a gas mask leans out of the passenger-side window, tapping his fingers on the door impatiently.

"Oh hell." Desperation taking over, Miyako unzips her free sleeve with her teeth, unfolding her wing and flapping it desperately in front of the gorilla's face, trying to distract it- between blowing her cover and going back There, she takes the former in a heartbeat, oblivious of the figure rocketing towards them.

Kine took another look at the woman in the car. Her face was blue, and a package of candy lay next to her. She had already choked to death. "Ah well" kilian said."We've done worse, you know that." Kine responded "No. You've done worse. You have." Kine decided to look around for a way to get away from these murderous apes.

Coming to a stop on the edge of a low building, Alex looks down over the street.  There appear to be a number of strange ape-creatures guarding an unmarked van.  The sound of explosions suprised him, and he turned to look.  Another ape creature is running towards them from a cloud of rising smoke, carrying what looks like a struggling person on it's back. This looks like a job for a hero... fun... He braces himself and dives from the edge, twisted black claws extending from his fingertips.  He lands on the hood of the van, suprising the man inside.  He goes for a gun, but Alex stabs through the windshield, pinning the man's arm to the seat with his talons.  He pulls his arm back, leaving two spikes piercing man's arm.  He feels kind of bad about it, but he would get shot otherwise.  As the only ape within sight turns to him, he prepares to jump away.

Nothing manipulating scientist:

Putting away the notepad, the many looks up and has a shivering sense of deja-vu at the sight of the van. Oh well, no matter. he thinks to himself.
He then charges his entire body with a layer of concentrated void energy and tenses as he nears the apes. He unleashes the energy as he is about to slam into the van, creating a cone of nothingness directly in front of him, engulfing the three apes and the van and launching him spiraling backwards out of control, constantly accelerating do to him not having a terminal velocity.

Edit: to be clear, this happens after Alex gets clear of the van and its guards.

With a terrifying roar, the gorilla charged James - and he did'nt move. The first hit sent him flying four meters before he crashed into a wall - since his skin was still made of titanium, he did'nt even have to evolve against that - and something changed. His skin had a new, more rocky look. The second hit did'nt even make him move, because he was now heavy. Really heavy.
James was aware that while the ape could'nt hurt him, he was not able to beat the creature. His body evolved only to survive - and in this situation, surviving did'nt involve killing the gorilla (since he was no longer a danger). The ape solved that problem.

The monster threw a car at James. While the human did not get hurt, the car was keeping him against the ground. A few seconds later, he was strong enough to move it - and he did not only move it, he threw it back at the gorilla, stunning him. Then, using his new strengh, he got close to the ape and punched him, breaking a few ribs. Laughing, James started to beat the gorilla to death.

(Probability Manipulation http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Probability_Manipulation)

The crowd around Leon Davis cheered as he won another hand, his pile of chips was getting considerably bigger. He grinned as he look down at his hand, the first three river cards had two aces in them, he had the other two. All of the other player's folded, not wanting to lose any more money. Except for one, a seemingly drunk man wearing a cowboy hat. More cards were dealt until it was time to show his hand, four aces while the other man only had two pairs.

He collected his chips and was ready to depart before the floor manager got here, but the drunk man stopped him. "Hey asshole...hic!" Leon sighed and turned around "What do you want?". The drunk man walked towards him, "I want my goddamn money back you fucking cheater."

Leon replied "Im not a cheater asshole, now leave me be.", the durnk man snarled and pulled out a knife ready to stab Leon. Before the drunk man could do anything a flying bottle hit his head, and he fell over unconcious. Leon look up to see a man with a worried look on his face looking over the railing, Leon grinned and ran off.

Leon was aware of his luck, and he knew it was superhuman luck. He didn't know why he had it, but he did. He couldn't control it of course, and it was just pure luck for most of the time. Although pure luck for him doesn't mean pure luck for others, including friends. Apparently his luck deem's certain events lucky to him, even when they aren't. Most people don't know how hard it is to explain to police officers how you suddenly recieved over $50,000 dollars from an ATM.

Before he could do anything, an Ape suddenly jumped at him, knocking him to the ground. He let out a scream of pain and the ape began to repeatedly punch him, looks like his luck isn't exactely kicking in yet. Suddenly though the Ape jerked forward and fell off him, behind him was a scared police officer holding a gun.

"Damn, now I have blood on my suit...", before he could thank the officer, an ape jumped on the officer. The ape quickly snapped the officer's neck and ran off, Leon scared out of his mind ran towards the officer and picked up his pistol and a few magazines.

He's used a gun for sure, back in his casino robbing day's. Of course he didn't do that anymore, he no longer needed to even break in to rob them. He spotted another ape and shot a round at it, the ape fell over dead with a bulletwound in his head.

For some reason he felt the need to do something about these ape's, it wouldn't exactely be fair to the people around here to be killed now would it? He brushed off his suit and walked towards the action, shooting any apes he saw while walking down the street.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Alex leaps backwards off the van, scoring the underside of the creature's arm as it swipes at him That may not have been the best attack plan.  As he lands, something slams into the van at massive speed.  His vision distorts for a moment, and then the van, and the guards, are gone.  Suprised, he looks at the rooftop where it came from - nothing there.

It's not slowing down.

'shitshitshitshitshit'

Almost within striking distance of the van... and then a metallic thump from the other side, and the man in the window turns away.

"Hey, who the hell- ARGH!

You sonova-!!

...Huh? OH FU--"

And then a thing happened, the ape-guards and the van disappearing with the sounds of rending metal and fading screams.

The ape, Miyako, and the van's driver, who's just emerged from the store, stop and gawk at the sudden and inexplicable phenomenon.

"...GRUNT?"/"...What the fuck?!"/"...性交は何?!"

What feels like a muscle spasm shoots through the ape, and it rushes towards the driver- who produces an assault rifle out of seemingly nowhere- picks him up, sets him on it's shoulder, and charges off in a different direction.

Everything was going fine for Leon, the ape's were easy to deal with. That was until he was nearly decapitated by a fucking van. Luckily for him he managed to roll out of the way in time. Too make things even more improbable, an ape with someone on top of it ran past him. Things were getting extremely improbable, and he wasn't sure if it was just him causing this.

Zeox just barely managed to free himself as one of the gorillas charged at him. He immediately ducked and rolled out of the way as the gorilla ran past and apparently changed targets. Zeox ignored it as he focused on the more immediate problem. The tree other angry beasts advancing towards him. He ran over to a nearbye car and punched the end of it with enough energy to flip it into the air, and then hit it again with his other arm when it was right in front of him. The wreck car flew throught the air and plowed into one of the gorillas knocking it over.
