What stairs? You are at the top of a small plateau over which a return node is lazily spinning. There are no stairs to be found anywhere near here.

Wait no, it was Mimi's house. I got confused because Mikhael met Troy there. Never the less, I'm absolutely sure he went to sleep in someone's house.

And wind up back in the house you started in. You start to yell in frustration, but then your lungs hurt. Maybe you should take a nap or something.

Huh. Why did I think he fell asleep outside then? Oh well, whatever.

New stuff forthcoming after all the cards are in so I can do new hands.

Oh, and Mikhael can make his level 6 alchemy(ies) now.

The map isn't as precise as you'd like it to be, but you can understand relative distances on it about as well as you need to for this. You fire up your Seer powers again.

It looks like a military compound, except all of the tents are purple. You don't see anyone of a 'head honcho' persuasion though.

You can make another title power roll to sustain scrying and try to look around for the bossman.

TE: Also be unconscious.
You've got a pretty good handle on that. High-velocity collisions with other people generally tends to result in unfavorable circumstances.

You confirm the Brutal Affront!

You decide not to give up the search so easily- You want to at least see who you're going up against! You look around for a tent that looks suitably opulent, which you quickly find and 'enter'.

There's a Dersite sitting behind a desk, smoking, and he has a diamond patch on his doublet. The doublet looks a lot finer than what the captured Dersite is wearing.

You drop out of your Seer state. Looks like you can only look for/at things for so long at a time.
