>Mikheal: Ignore Troy's Fussing and jump straight in.
>Fuss Mikheal through the portal before hopping on through
After a short fussing denial, the heroes of Time and Mind hop through the gate above Mimi's house, which deposits the pair atop a plateau of sorts. It's slender and stretches out a ways, and bridges connect it other, similar features of geography. A lone goat stands around several yards away.
>Mimi and Emily: Head back towards the abandoned factory.
You start making your way back to the abandoned factory. It's still a long walk, and you do in fact see the hill with the gate sitting atop it on your way.
Of course, it might be worthwhile to pick up your time traveling acquaintance first instead of just hopping into the gate and ditching him.
RL: Make statements with offensive implications regarding the ogre's mother.
Trollin' check: [6,1]+8=15.
You start making derogatory statements about the Ogre's genetic predecessors. Now, Ogre's do not
have mothers, but these sort of things are universally recognized as insults. The Ogre roars at you and starts moving in your direction. Unfortunately, the Dersites yell at the rest of the underlings to attack as well. Oops.
Strife!
Okay, Steve was the only one who actually took cover, so he can either have top initiative, or a free triggered turn, based on a trigger he chooses. If he does that, he gets a second turn at the bottom of initiative, first round only.
Everyone else, just roll initiative, plus 5 because you planned to have this fight (more or less).
