We have the best group dynamics. The very best.

Luckily, it appears that the salamanders did not hear that remark, and they begin to show you the way to their nearest village. It's a good thirty minute walk, and when you arrive, you see quite a lot of salamanders wandering around. Their homes appear to be made of huge, broken gears, and sometimes wood, though this is rarer. They don't pay you much attention, and the salamanders you came here with wander away into the village.

Now what?

Alex emerges from his house, carrying a stack of powder blue jackets, and begins passing them out to everyone but BT. "TOOK ME A BIT, BUT I MANAGED TO ALCHEMIZE SOME REFRIGERATED JACKETS." Alex then turned to BT. "UH, YOUR ARMOR HAS A COOLING SYSTEM, RIGHT? I'M JUST GUESSING..."

You head back into blue bird territory and start asking around about a gate. About ten minutes of detective work later, and you are reasonably certain that there's a fort north of you that has a gate on the top floor.

I drew a headshot of Alex because that bird's nest was just begging to be drawn. I love drawing hair and I couldn't pass it up.

I tried something a little different with the face (specifically the nose) because it's at least twice as big as I normally draw them and also just 'cause, but it's not like you guys would know since I've never posted any pencil drawings here before. The hardest part was actually the... the... the everything below the chin, sketchy though it may be.
And yes I am going to post information about a drawing every time I post one. That's just how I roll.

His hair appears to sprout from two different points on his head. It's that messy.
Huh, I tried to make sure there was a source of light so it wouldn't be so dark, but I guess my efforts failed. Oh well.

It's not quite stubble, but there is hair there. In my headcanon, all guys have at least wisps of hair going a little down their necks. Not all the guys, just all guys. As long as they have hair, that is. Alex has a fuckton of hair, so the wisps go all the way down his neck.

Also I almost gave him sideburns, of which I left a light coat.
