What about stat-wise.

Yeah, sizing up your foes does not give you their stats.

Really?  I thought it would. It would be a hellvalot more useful then a vague description. Especially considering I got a 23. You have to consider that without mods, a 20 is the best roll you can get. Even then, it would be nice to know.

And knowing is half the battle.

CKM: If that was a door, the rubble is probably hiding some sort of vast underwater temple. Which means there's a potential for a gate being there.

CAL: OKAY. BUT IT WAS BROKEN, RIGHT? WHAT IF THE DOOR DOESN'T BELONG THERE? WE KIND OF PULLED IT OUT OF THE MUD.
CRL: it was probably a part of the rubble.
CRL: meaning the entrance would have been nearby
CKM: Even if it doesn't, the place it came from is probably - yes, nearby.
CRL: or it was covering the actual entrance which just got sea gunk init
CAL: I GUESS WE COULD HAVE MISSED IT. WE CAN'T EXACTLY SEE VERY FAR THROUGH THE SCHOOLS OF BABY FROGS.

CRL: so I think a couple people should dig right under where it was, and maybe a couple others can dig around more nearby.

Blade, I'm so sorry. You say these people have good intentions. But if they do, they are REALLY horrible at expressing it, to be honest. 12 of them, all of them armed with mainly ranged weapons, are waiting in a dark forest at each side of a road, in the middle of Blue Bird Territory (Risking possible dectection and restarting a very costly War), with the excuse of "The King/Queen wants to ask a lone and completely unremarkable merc who has done almost nothing noteworthy ever some questions in person",  and then also threaten to use force if he didn't come with them. Not to forget that only a little while before, he saw HB sending a message via a Red Bird Messager, which Mikheal can clearly remember, because it only happened an hour or so ago for him.

I do not mean to insult you in any way, but did you really expect me or Mikheal to Buy this? Ever?

To be fair, you're hardly unremarkable. You're the only sentient being on the land that is not a carapace person or a bird. That makes you more than a little note-worthy. And consider that the red birds might not know about your altercation with HB. Plus, the red birds do not fear another war with the blue birds. It's darn near a national past time at this point.
