>Steve: Get down to a level that you can hide normally, and not be flying.

[10,10+11] = 31 ( \o/ Lets ignore the fact that it's doubles.)

I swear that I'll roll absurdly low when my character wakes up. My stealth rolls have been good to me so far, and I hope that my luck holds up.

Have you worked out your character sheet to level 5 yet? If you have any questions about putting it together, just ask.
I think Theros has some stuff jotted down, but only the planet in the medium (Land of Produce and Machinery), title (Knight of Breath (?)), strife specibus (whipkind), and the color is sorted out.
You were there for that though (though I didn't know who was and wasn't present during the memo due to the chumhandle thing, as they were essentially secondary usernames. Pesterlogs scanning, whoo).
As for actually having the character sheet, while I do have a pdf, I've never actually written a sheet up.
I was under the impression that it would be done in a pesterlog or something and I just now started trying to make one to see if I could get some of the stuff out of the way.
Spoiler: AmIdoinitrite (click to show/hide)

Also, since bdthemag left we've leveled twice, and consequently there are two sylladex common cards, a level 4 and 5, that need to be selected, which you can do.
Not exactly sure how leveling works; I'll look more through the pdf tomorrow because my sleeping meds are starting to show signs of getting impatient with me.
A template would be nice, like what things I need to look for/roll up; I've only ever roleplayed in maptools, in which I was walked through and rules were pretty unstrict because I am not a roleplaying veteran. Even so, it was only a few times, and the last time was a while ago.
This is pretty different from what I've done before, but that doesn't mean I'm any less interested.

Spoiler: Still-Life (click to show/hide)
I llol'd at that. Good job with the the uh the I'm not good at giving non-generic compliments. Pretend there's a non-generic compliment there, or alternatively, take the fact that I laughed at it as a compliment. Or you can make both of us feel bad and take it as an insult.
On second thought, don't do that last thing.

Off the top of my head, I think you have 18 PLC (Knight) and 16 ACU (Breath). The other two stats will be 12/10 or 14/8 (you get to choose which stat has which number. Speed is 6 unless you're a Thief (i'm rad) or you choose heavy armor. More on that below.
1st level hitpoints will be 18 (PLC) plus whatver your mangrit is, you'll have to choose before hp per level can be found.
Same thing with Fortitude, but Will is 9 and Reflex is 8, with some other modifiers (I don't know because I don't have the pdf).
Initiative, no clue. Sorry.
AC first needs you to choose heavy or light armor. I think it's heavy armor is +4 but -1 speed, which can be removed on alchemy items. Light is your Acumen modifier +..2? I think?

e: I like making character sheets waaay too much.
Ooh Blade can I make the character sheet for apples? It'd be less work for you <== good #1! It'd have to wait til' tomorrow though.

Stats: 18 PLC, 16 ACU, and 12/10 or 14/6 for the last two.
Speed: 6, unless otherwise stated by classes and armor.
Fortitude: 10 + your level + your Mangrit modifier.
Reflex: 10 + your level + the better of your Imagination or Acumen modifiers.
Will: 10 + your level + your Pulchritude modifier.
Armor Class: 10 + your level + armor bonus + Auto-Parry (if applicable); if wearing light armor, add the better of your IMG or ACU modifier.
Initiative: Better of your ACU or IMG modifiers + your level.

Light Armor: +3 to AC + either your IMG or ACU bonus
Heavy Armor: +7 to AC, -1 to speed

You really do need the pdf with the game rules at some point, but this should be a start.

If you're going to put it in an image format, done deal.

Edit: Recent MSPA updates make Brians removal even more undisirable. Bards are apparently massive wild cards, capable of changing our fortunes singlehandedly. Think about how much !!FUN!! It would be!

Just what this session needs: More instability. Besides, we've already gone over why we aren't keeping Brian. Even if we did keep him, he'd wind up either being a silent combatant, or alternatively coming off with about as much personality as the sprites (who I think are pretty flat to be honest, but I don't really feel like giving them much screen time). We all need to take a look at the fact that bd left, and consequently, DB has to leave as well. Now, let's get back to the game.

>Mikheal: "Depends. Why do you want me?"

>Mikheal: Stand at full hight, in an attempt to intimidate them (Troll Roll)

Extending yourself to your full height seems to make a few of the bowman nervous, but the group stands their collective ground. The Piker answers your question, but does not raise his weapon into a combat stance.

"Our King is interested in why you seem so eager to aid the Cloacians. We promise that if you cooperate, and act only in peace, no harm will come to you while you are under our care. However, I will have to insist that you do come with us."

>Steve: Get down to a level that you can hide normally, and not be flying.

[10,10+11] = 31 ( \o/ Lets ignore the fact that it's doubles.)

Jesus man, you need to hit up a casino while you're still red-hot. Or buy a lotto ticket, something.

You look around for a spot with a shortage of prying eyes, then dive down, sliding between a couple of buildings. Nobody here but you, and you're darn near invisible to boot. Unfortunately, It'll be difficult to maintain your mark at this distance, especially considering that, if you wish to stay out of sight, the only way to the other end of the bridge will be to circle the entire pit. Which, you could do, but he'd probably be long gone if you took the time to stay properly hidden. You could sacrifice stealth for speed, but if the alarm is raised, well, you're deep in enemy territory. It could get messy, to say the least.

You could pick a new mark, or explore around here, but you've already invested time in your current mark.

Or, of course, you could pick some kind of ridiculous fourth option. Your choice, obviously.

This is pretty different from what I've done before, but that doesn't mean I'm any less interested.

Well, it looks like The Fool and SirAaron have you covered for your character sheet for the moment, but we'll definitely go over the level system again at level 6. And yes, you are the same level as everyone else.

Right now, all you have to worry about are those two common sylladex cards, which two starting aggrievements you want, where your secondary stats wind up, if you want to take any common templates, and your alchemy, which is easily the most involved of any of these steps.

Think of alchemy as a point-buy system. Whenever you level, you get a number of points equal to your level minus one, which cannot be held and must be spent at your next access to alchemy equipment. You spend points to buy traits for a card you wish to build. You can also gain points by taking negative traits.

Right now, you have 4 sets of points: a 1 point set, a 2 point set, a 3 point set, and a 4 point set. You cannot borrow from one point set to put points into another point set. You can choose to break up your point sets to make multiple alchemy cards, but I wouldn't suggest it as you'll start doing that at level 6 to avoid the Rare Card hand block in any case.

There are 3 categories of cards you may make with your alchemy: Weapons, Armor, and Items. All alchemized weapons and armor have the collectible trait, meaning that once you draw them, you can always have access to their passive traits. In addition to the passive traits, weapons have an associated power, and armor can have an associated power, but you have to buy it. Items are not collectible, and have no passive traits, but their powers are often game changers, and can provide a huge swing in your favor during battles or scrutinies; so long as you have it in your hand.

Each category of alchemy item has it's own section in the pdf, and for weapons and armor it divides the traits you can purchase into passive and power sections.

I hope this is enough information to get started on your alchemy.

I just wish we didn't need to kick off Brian. It doesn't feel right. But what happened to BD the mage anyway? Its not normal for someone to stop playing a forum game suddenly and without saying anything. Well, after they have gotten so far into the game, I mean. Cript and Darvi barely even started the game, and even Darvi came back after a while to explain his absence.

And speaking of Darvi, I feel that BD will end up just like him.  He'll just suddenly turn up after we fully retcon him. And it'll be awful.

But anyway:

>Mikheal: Wait, before you wail on these guys, how strong do these guys look? They *are* military Personal and you don't want to make the same mistake you did with that Huge Bastard.

Insight check that I can't roll because phone. But now I have computer.

You take a good look at the birds trying to haul you off. The bowman seem mostly like fresh troops, so they probably won't be too much to handle. Still, the sheer number of them could be troublesome. The sword and boards look a little tougher, and together might actually pose a minor threat.

The piker seems to be the most competent of the bunch, from what you can tell, and that pike looks like it's seen it's share of use. He might be on level with you in terms of skill, but in terms of physical strength, there's no comparison between the two of you. He could give you a run for your money, but you'd eventually come out on top.

All of them together, however, would definitely be a problem.

Well, maybe I should just follow the red carpet to wherever it leads.

>Steve: Stalk the red carpet from afar.

[6,8+11] = 25

You start making your way into the heart of Derse, following the red carpet into the bowels of the planet. You stay off the carpet itself, careful to remain hidden.

Your concentration is interrupted as you spot a Dersite hurrying along the red carpet. This sort of thing wouldn't be a big deal, except he's down an arm and has blood all over his face. He's being escorted by a taller Dersite, wearing a diamond patch on his front.

They both scurry past your hiding place, obviously in a hell of a hurry. Maybe the carpet leads to a hospital? You continue following the carpet, and eventually spot where the carpet leads: An extremely ornate purple (yeah, big surprise on that detail) building, complete with a portcullis and armed guards. They look dangerous, to say the least.

What now?

What about stat-wise.

You question the notion of this 'stat-wise' business. It certainly makes no sense to you and never will. The notion that you could categorize potential foes with numerical values for their fighting skill, strength and vitality is a completely ridiculous notion and should never be brought up again.

Yeah, sizing up your foes does not give you their stats.

The turtle sadly shakes his head. "It seems that the boat sunk so fast that none of the crew had time to disembark. Otherwise, I am sure there would not be so many bodies. I have been searching since I found the wreck, which was about three and a half hours ago."
