>Mikheal: Investigate the Towers.
You'd like to, but they're quite some ways away from you. Perhaps if you had a grappling hook gun, you could fire an anchor into one of the windows, then shimmy across. Of course, since you're so high up, that'd be pretty dangerous.
The voices continue to grow in volume. They call your name, over and over.
"Choco you've got to fly away! You can catch up later."
>CR: Run up 5, and left 7. Jump into the gate.
((I definitely need to Punch Designix the tonfa. The whirly attack is nice, but with the extra half point I can knock people prone on every attack and not have -1 to my attacks. Did I mention that they can't attack while prone, and they provoke another attack while getting up?))
You call out to your sprite to make a break for it, then run like the wind, leaping into your gate.
You emerge at the top of a dormant volcano. A return node hovers at the opposite end of the cavernous opening. A winding path inside the mouth of the volcano leads down, but you can't tell how far. It's a little warmer here, but a gust of bitingly cold wind reminds you that, yes, this is still your land.
((You mean you want to scrap it in return for an extra half point next time you alchemize? Yeah, I guess it would be no great loss, especially if you made more or less the same thing, just without the attack penalty. You do, however, get a free half point if you make the same thing and just stack more traits on it.))
>Mimi: Switch to rapier, stab that swordalisk, shift 1 up (avoiding opportunity attack).
3+8+11. A miss would have been very inconvenient right now.
You show this chump your stabs. 14 points worth of stabs, interestingly enough. You then back up, ready to get huim again when he tries to follow you.
More painful sounding noises come from the Ogre. It doesn't seem to be having luck hitting back either. Whoever it is fighting must be pretty good.
The frog basilisk you were beating on earlier lines up behind the sword-tailed basilisk, ready to come after you once he makes some room.
The sword basilisk doesn't have room to maneuver in the tight space, and simply glares at you angrily.
You hear a loud *thump* and a shout of pain behind you. Sounds like that second Ogre got a shot in.
