Shifting is a form of movement where you choose to expend your full move action to move 5 feet, or 1 square. This move does not provoke oppurtunity attacks, though some powers can stop this, such as the Harsh Tutelage power of the Weapon Master Prototyping.

He's starting to look impatient and confrontational. There has to be something you can do to diffuse the situation...

You back up and fire another round. The Ogre takes 9 points of damage.

The Ogre circles around the spirograph, partially moving through a wall, and attacks you again. It's huge fist misses you by less than an inch.

Also, I wouldn't be like totally peeved if Mimi died and had to start again from Prospit/Derse or something. Whatever, don't fudge rolls for me unless you just want to.

I do not fudge rolls. Unless I do so for dramatic purposes. I will say this though. That Ogre just rolled a 21. That is 1 shy of pasting you.

Am I allowed to shift again? If so:

Either way I rolled a 5+2 which is 17 which I'm guessing is a miss no matter what I do.

I knew I was going to miss it once eventually.
