I don't think it's your internet. My Pesterchum just acted up too and so did Riccto's. I fixed it by editing pesterchum.js to this:

{"hideOfflineChums": false, "tabs": false, "soundon": true, "server": "irc.tymoon.eu", "chums": [""], "defaultprofile": "apprenticeLumberjack", "block": []}

You would have to readd all your chums obviously but w/e.

Just do what Freeform said, everything will reveal itself afterwards.

But make a copy of pesterchum.js just in case.
