You flip open the trap door, and the smell gets worse. All you can see from where you are is a staircase, dusted with damp sand.

You try to jam your helmet on tighter to keep the smell out, but it just blurs your vision, so you stop. You wander down through the sloping hallway, which gradually widens two a 30 foot or so wide passage before opening into a huge cavern. A narrow staircase leads down to the left, down to a narrow pathway to the other end of the cave. There appears to be some pedestal at the other end of the cave, but damn if you can tell what's on it.

It takes a few moments to lock on to him, but it seems mister Diamonds has called off the firefighting effort and is being escorted somewhere. Lucky for your group (or unlucky, depending on how you think about it), he left the camp in nearly the opposite direction your group is in.

Alex wanders into the burnt remains of the tent and kicks the Mausoleum. "WHAT DO YOU THINK IS UP WITH THIS?" A few explosions sound at the outer edges of the camp.

Emily, Claire, Danielle, and intruders: Be startled by nearby explosions and spreading flame.

You suddenly do the bloody thing. A wave of blood shoots up from the ground and crashes over the oncoming flames.They're certainly not all out, but the area around you and your companions is now relatively safe once more. It is also covered in blood.
