RL: Now the other basilisk!
8+7+11-1= 25.

You get close enough to the other basilisk that you can carve him open like a thanksgiving turkey, but far away enough that you won't get cooked like one. You slash at the remaining enemy, doing your current maximum of 21 damage.

Snakesprite takes a point of damage from the fire, and also attacks the fire basilisk, but he rolls another grave blunder. What are the odds? He takes 5 damage in the ensuing confusion.

The fire basilisk attacks your sprite in a desperate bid to reduce the number of enemy combatants, but only does 9 damage, leaving your sprite with 2 hit points, and conscious.

Looks like it's time to pull the plug on this place. 8) (YEAAAAH!)

>CR: Attempt to pull the rod out of the mountain and run like hell.

You spend a few minutes trying to pull this enormous rod out of the volcano like the plug out of a bathtub. It doesn't show any signs of budging though. More importantly, your ADVENTURER SENSE tells you that this rod is not a plug, but some form of... Device? You guess? Your ADVENTURER SENSE was not very specific on the point. Whatever it is, it is not something you want to try ripping out of the ground, if only because it would be a waste of your time.

Would you like to spend some time contemplating the MYSTERY OF THE VOLCANO ROD?

That means I have 4 points in my lobby. GET ME THE FUCK OUT SO I CAN USE THEM.

Actually, 3 and 4 points. Maybe you'd like to bargain with the Elder Gods for consciousness? Not that I'd suggest it, but it is a thing you could do. If you were to do so, however, they could choose to force you into GRIMDARK mode whenever they chose, effectively turning your alignment to lawful evil, with all the team fracturing backstabbing that comes with that.

RL: Keep up the heat. Get it, because it's on fire..... Okay, then.
2+1+11-1=13.
That pun was so bad it even pissed off the RNG deities.

Gotham's mysteriously high mental illness rate isn't so mysterious when you find out Batman thinks subduing a guy means spiking his head into the pavement like a football.

>CR: Why not?

You take some time to contemplate the mystery with the aid of your MYSTERIES skill. You're not working out much (I mean, come on, it's a volcano with a giant metal rod sticking out from the base. That's weird.), but it occurs to you that it might have something to do with thermal energy, maybe. You'd long suspected that your own home ran on volcano power anyway.

Speaking of, it sure is warm down here. Stiflingly too.

X-TREME EXP SURGES are so much fun.

You deal another quick 12 damage to Imp 2, leaving it gasping. He's gonna go down pretty soon.

Imp1 can't lay a finger on you, and neither can Imp 2.

Once again, no movement means no map.

You get ready to get your swing on when your semi-sentient halberd throws a damn fit. You struggle to keep it under control, but to no avail.

Your snakesprite keeps the pressure on, taking 1 damage from the flame, dealing 7 damage before hovering backwards out of the flame.

The basilisk grins and shoots a fireball out of its mouth like a particularly smug piranha plant. Danielle dodges, but snakesprite is knocked out by the blast.

Lets see if I can find out where the rod goes while I'm heading back up.

Wait. Last time I checked I was level 3, so if I'm level 5... that means I have to make a 3-point and a 4-point item? Aaaaaaa. Time to make a Prospit-themed item. Somehow.

I think there was a miscommunication at some point. Here, allow me to provide an illustration that might shed some light on the nature of the rod, and nothing else about the volcano, because seriously, I spent 30 seconds on this.

And, pick your new common sylladex cards!

You check the dead prospitians hand. He was clutching an envelope, and a map. The map seems to pertain to your land.

Your Alchemiter produces a Rocketpack, which you'd queued while you were low on grist. Lucky! This'll get you to RL's land, just like in the cloud vision! At least, you think so. You notice you have a fair bit more grist then you had when you began experimenting. Good deal. You get to work on something else before you head out.

RL: KILL IT

6+11-1=16. DAMMIT DICE

Also, for new common sylladex stuff, I pick Punch Designix and Emerald Contraband. Working on my next alchemized items set now.

You miss, and the basilisk advances on you, handily missing you.

Your move.

Also, everyone's character sheets are now in nice image formats, and up to 5th level.

The enemies won't know what hit them when I get back. Speaking of which I should probably get out of here before the mysteries start piling up.

You're going to have to go back through that group of enemies. Would you like to take the stealth route, or charge up on in like Leeroy Jenkins and give those louts what for?

RL: COME ON
7+1+11-1=18.

You swing again at the basilisk. It tries to move out of the way, but you cave in it's skull, blowing it apart. Finally!
