Heh, we've got a bunch of little suburbs that like to pretend they're real cities around here, and they merge seamlessly with the greater metro area, but have their own police forces who ticket for anything over the limit, when Metro PD goes by the 10-over unofficial rule. Completely obnoxious.

Ok, there's actually a largish recess where the microwave is. Plus a few chairs against a kinda counter or something, so you can sit and eat. In the FUCKING RESTROOM.

Nothing beats having an open plate of food where people are flushing toilets.

There was a hotpot restaurant in Hangzhou where the bathrooms were a couple of stalls *in the middle of the restaurant* with the dining tables all around. And the stalls had like a foot or more of ground clearance. 

Thank God the restaurant (like all good Chinese restaurants) was loud, hot and full of the smell of cooking food. Otherwise that could have been seriously unpleasant. Oh, and the same restaurant had a "Biohazard - Medical Waste" sign on the entry door downstairs. I didn't ask.

Though to be honest, the restrooms are probably cleaner, as they would actually get cleaned; unlike the other rooms people go to which don't involve the washing of hands. Though the smell may get somewhat unpleasant.

A friend of mine thought consuming some Kool-Aid powder would be a good idea. He had severe troubles tasting for the rest of the day, in addition to intense pain for a short while.

Seriously? I did that all the time as a kid (consuming, not snorting). It's mostly sugar. With some fruit flavor and artificial color.

This stuff is "Kool-Aid UNSWEETENED SOFT DRINK MIX" - no sugar at all. This particular packet's ingredients, for example: Citric acid, salt, modified cornstarch, red 40, calcium phosphate, artificial flavor, ascorbic acid, artificial color, natural flavor, and blue 1.

You're supposed to add 1 cup sugar to 0.16oz mix (1 pack) and 2 quarts water. There's nothing sweet - or delicious - about the raw mix.
Although, if you add just the right amount of sugar and water, it can make some pretty sour frozen... things. The packet has a "recipe" for sour ice cubes.

I once combined such a packet with about 2 ounces of apple mead that I'd messed up and made overly sour through the addition of too much apple flavor. The result was like drinking a Warhead, it was great.

Ok, so the talk about cars reminded me.
Once when I was learning to drive I was driving along on a standard 35mph road when a car coming the other way signals to turn right, nice and early, then he turns left out in front of me. I had to slam on the brakes and watch as his right turn signal passes by in front of me.

I really hate driving.

I hate driving too. For a different reason though... likely I'd be the one signaling right and turning left :X

Everyday sight for me: Someone in a massively oversized work truck (with an empty bed, no dirt, no scrapes, no sign of actual use), in the middle of a major city, with a burger in one hand and a cell phone in the other, steering with the lumps of condensed fat they call knees. I love America.




(pet peeve of mine: People who buy AT/work vehicles and never take them outside the greater metropolitan area. [which admittedly has now been expanded to include the entire county] To steal a superb joke: "As the leper said to his mistress, where's the bloody point?")

One of my friends decided he was going to "move-style-ninja-roll" off a roof and try to jump up into his car from the landing. He managed to, in a feat of unrepeated athleticism, not kill himself on the roll. Unfortunately, he dizzied himself and sprung into a car-shaking headbutt rather than a cool seat mount.

On the car thing, I live in Michigan. The highway speed is listed at 70, and typically one goes 80-90. Of course, the fun part is going into Ohio, at which point going three feet per hour over is, like, a capital crime or something. I would be willing to bet that a fair amount of northern Ohio police stations get more money off Michigan-plated cars than Ohio-plated.

Today, one of my friends unzipped his pants took out his genitals and scratched one of his testicles in public, just because a woman said he did not have the balls.
I also tried stuffing several bags of candy in my pants so I wouldn't have to buy candy at the theater.........I had five phonenumbers before I got in my seat.
