Happened several years ago.

Can't really say it was something stupid, but while I was on vacation at some random place, I saw one of those roadside food stalls selling some kind of roast BBQ like meat.

The interesting thing (that was also really really dangerous) was that the cook apparently had no idea how to control the gas burner, and every few seconds the stove would blast out a thick puff of fire 5 feet into the middle of the street.
If it wasn't for the fact that the road beneath the burner was already burnt dark as a warning, I think that the stove might've ended up killing quite a few children and unaware nearby pedestrians every day that cook was there.
