Winter is Over!
I've automagically given all of the El-Effhichen their own tents. That's easier than dealing with all the issues associated with it. I've also issued 2 goats to each "family" to ensure that they all have the ability to take their belongings with them.
The RNG really likes the idea of you all working with the Kodana appearently. First it allows Azkul to convince the chief to ignore his friend, then it allows Micelus to stop an immediate raid on the El-Effhichen despite not being able to communicate very well. Also guys, as of spring, the herd is gonna be out of control unless you all help watch it.
Tak'Am helps Micelus with his establishment of an Alphabet. They make enormous progress, but it isn't ready yet.
Micelus's ravens are unable to be bred while the tribe is travelling.
Micelus asks the patriarch who will take over the tribe when the Patriarch dies. The Patriarch replies, "whoever everyone else follows, of course."
Azkul attempts to convince the tribe to go towards the Kodana. Micelus attempts to convince the chief to go towards the South-east. Azkul's arguments aren't very convincing, but are better than anything anyone else comes up with. The Chief decides to disreguard his friend's advice this time, and the tribe travels to the Kodana. You all arrive in the vicinity of Utia, and when Micelus heads down to the village, he is confronted by an angry Utia warrior. As he is still not proficient in Kodana, he brought a translator along. The Warrior grabbed the translator and shouted something that Micelus didn't understand. The translator replied that he was owned by the El-Effhichen now, but the warrior made it clear he knew the translator was lying and knew that they were freed. The Utia warrior looked at micelus and demanded that the Former Slaves should be delivered to Utia immediately, and that it was wrong to free them. The translator accurately translated this, confirming what Micelus understood of the conversation. Micelus convinced the Utia warrior to give him a little time to deal with the situation. The translator expressed later that Micelus's use of the Language was accurate.
Micelus arranges for teaching for the Former slaves on Proper Tribal Skills.
Tak'Am gains 10 Lbs of medicinal herbs trade goods.
Azkul mutters about settling down, probably gained from ideas from his wife, what with him trying to learn womanly arts of weaving!
Ahra trains in the bow and watches the herd. Nix trains with his spear while watching the Herd.
The Herd is adequately controled, but barely. 66 Sheep are slaughtered for food.
Micelus is pretty certain now that he understands the Deer creatures reproduce in the spring like the rest of the animals, and therefore next season his attempt at breeding will be given another roll.

Extra, extra! Read all about it! Mafun takes a dangerous risk and survives! You are hella lucky Yoink. The women still under guard, and you decide that they are trustworthy enough to go into a village dominated by their previous culture type. Then through an inital bad roll, then a series of lucky rolls, you manage to keep the strangers from decending on you all in an explosion of violence.
The Mokoli don't use wood for toolmaking except as needed, as bone has always been more plentiful.
One man and 2 of the very food-productive women take time to make hide blankets and clothes for winter in a climate similar to Uruguay. Since their clothing and other items were already mostly adequate for the climate, this takes up no real time and is abstracted out.
Mafun continues to teach the women Mokab in the evenings, he also ensures every Mokab Warrior has a Basket Helmet. He has 4 extra Basket helmets, all low quality, and manages to get 3 ropes of average quality crafted which he takes with him in the final month of the season on a trade mission.
Mafun heads out with a Woman and a Warrior and himself to meet a nearby tribe with a collection of Basket Helms to trade and two woven ropes to give away. They encounter warriors from a village to the North Northwest. They are taken to a village of Eight long houses. It looks somewhat prosperous with between 70-150 people in it. The Almache don't exactly get a good impression on how many live there, though she estimates more on the higher side of that than the lower. She attempts to pass on something important, but she fails to get her point across to Mafun. The Almache speaks fluent Daluche, but Mafun doesn't, having focused his instruction on teaching Mokab instead of learning Daluche. The Almache appeared to have begun talking about how she personally got to be in your captivity, but Mafun estimates correctly that she is doing that, and gives her a stern look. She looks at Mafun with rebellion in her heart, and Mafun continues to stare her down. She doesn't work up the courage to try again, although it is clear that the Daluche village know that something went on between you guys. You fail to pass it off as nothing, and the village is now somewhat wary of you. Mafun's gift goes over very well, and when the Almache expresses the food problems you guys have been having, the Daluche Matriarch provides a gift of food (900 days worth, or a little over 1 month of food for your entire tribe). There is no interest in the Basket Helmet Trade goods. One of the Daluche men attempts to communicate something to Mafun via his "translator", but the Almache woman wasn't able to get the information across at all. Returning with the food requires the Daluche villagers to help, so they know where your village is.
The Hunting parties brought in less than a month of food. The Foragers managed to bring in a little over a month of food.
Village Assets:
1 Fortified village with 1 longhouse of 27 people

Tribal Leadership of the Mokoli
I am giving the exact numbers here so Yoink understands how much food each group brings in.
The 14 Men, plus one partial man, brought in 546 days worth of food.
The five women, plus one partial woman, managed to bring in 945 days worth of food.
The Mokoli needs in the ballpark of 2430 days of food. It brought in a little over 88 and a half days of food tribe-wide. That is close enough to 90 days for the tribe that I just round it off. Anything with less than 15 days shortfall I round to 0, anything with 15 days or more I will either round to a solid month if the tribe is doing well, or start with the .5s if the tribe needs every bite it can get.
