Well... Here we go.
(Turn processing. It will be posted here soon.)
(Edit: Arv died the 3rd round of combat. Rest in peace Arv. This was 4 encounter rounds. The tribe might survive this after all, though with the "Shaman" dead, the Mokoli have eliminated their poor morale state. Since this was all that was holding the Mokoli back from rolling up your entire force, it could be a problem. We'll see if they can hold on 2 or more rounds.)
(Edit 2: The Almache still exist. I am currently processing the rest of the Moloki domestic situation, then the turn will be posted.)
(Edit 3: Turn.
See the Mokoli/Almache conflict for details about the Almache this month.

Mafun wove himself a Basket Helmet. His fellow raiders were amused. They set off in a westerly direction.
2 Mokoli die. One to natural causes, 1 to disease. The Medicine man fails to contain the outbreak and it spreads. The Medicine man manages to save some of the villagers, but 28 more die to the disease. (21% of the Moloki population have died to disease this season). 1 male toddler, 2 Female teens, 4 Female adults, and 22 Male adults in total died. The Mokoli have a birth in the village. The Mokoli manage to hunt up 1 month of food. The Mokoli raiding band have not returned this month from the Almache village and therefore their contributions are not added this month.

With the Raiding Band:
6 Women
Enough food to return to the Mokoli Village (4 months of total food carried or collected by the band)
Mafun's Holdings:

The Almache discovered the raiding party prior to the Mokoli's arrival in the village. The current War Leader assigned Arv to escort the women and children, since he was too wounded to be very useful. The Almache escaped with 5 months of food. The warriors stayed behind to fight the Mokoli. 9 Almache Axemen stood against 20 Mokoli Clubmen. The Clubmen were well prepared for the raiding party.
At first it appeared the Almache would win the battle. The Mokoli fell upon the warriors and took some damage from it. One Mokoli was cut injured pretty badly, saved by his shield. The Mokoli rallied though and took down an Almache warrior, with the injured Mokoli saved only by his shield. This encouraged the Mokoli, as they quickly took down another two Almache, yet this didn't save the injured Mokoli, whose damaged shield wasn't enough to stop a wicked axe strike. Two more Almache were brought down but they managed to give a slash against one of the Mokoli before they went down. With only 4 men remaining, the Almache broke and ran. The Mokoli clubbed two Almache down as they turned tail. Two got away. The Mokoli persued, catching up to one of the Almache. He was brought down. The remaining Almache warrior rejoined the tribe. He was put to scouting. He discovered the Mokoli approaching the camp four times before the Mokoli discovered him. He was killed attempting to warn of this fifth approach. After two months of persuit, the Mokoli raiders burst into the clearing containing the Almache.
The Matron orders Arv to get the children to safety. Arv disobeys the Matron's commands and rushes out, dancing and chanting and looking like he's casting a spell. Some of the Mokoli hesitate a step, but refuse to be shown up by their war leader OR their youngest member Mafun (who is too wise to be fazed by such silly actions, even while wearing a basket on his head)
The Matron at first appears stunned, then orders two of the women back to help with the children. The rest of the women and 3 teen males rush to Arv's side before he is completely surrounded. Meanwhile Arv gives the warleader a nasty gash.
Arv ends up taking the Point position. The Mokoli rush forward. Their rush is clearly unsteady, and the antics of Arv appear to be making a great deal of difference. The Almache give better than they take.
Things seem to be fairly even, except at the center. The women in the center take a flurry of blows. Arv is struck again in his wounded spot and crumples to the ground, lifeless.
A Player has been struck down by a unnamed Mokoli warrior wielding a club
Bolstered by the fallen "shaman", things quickly turned against the Almache. A flurry of blows landed on the defenders. The Mokoli warriors moved to overcome these individuals and take them captive. The Matron resisted this treatment, but one of the other defenders were overcome.
Things took a bleak turn indeed, as the matron and another woman was captured and one of the male teens killed. The Mokoli made it look easy as they surrounded the remaining women. The women knew that if they were to break, their children would be doomed, so they held on, determined not to fall.
The entire right side folded, and all but 2 of the remaining women were subdued. The remaining male teens were slaughtered, and the Mokoli moved to engulf the remaining 2 defenders.
The defenders were quickly surrounded and overwhelmed. They were subdued and Mokoli began persuit of the escaping villagers. They were fatigued from their running, which may be why they never sighted them again. Still, having captured a good number of the adult women they saw when they arrived, they were satisfied. Some children were left behind. The Moloki did not claim these creatures.
Total people captured by the Moloki:
6 Women.
The Moloki had 1 month of food remaining from the provisions they raided from the Almache. The food that was left behind allowed them to resupply themselves for the trip back home with their new captives.
The Almache managed to keep most of their children alive. They have 33 people remaining. 2 Adults and 31 children. They have only a single month of food remaining.
Almache Population:
2 adult (2 female)
10 "Teens" (1 Male, 9 Female)
8 "Children" (3 Male, 5 Female)
10 "Toddlers" (7 Male, 3 Female)
3 "Infants" (1 Male, 2 Female)
Mafun's helmet had no effect on the battle, but the Mokoli shields continue to be the ultimate weapon in this game. Seriously, they have a very low chance of saving, but seem to block almost all hits directed at them. It's a serious disproportinate ratio. There have been more critical hits that have happened at them, for example, than the save value of the shield, and yet EVERY CRITICAL HIT TO DATE has been blocked by these things. To be fair, Ahra's bone shirt has yet to be tested in battle and has a similar value.
Taricus, you need to decide if you want to keep playing. If you do, pick or create a new tribe and create a new character (you could do Almache, though your character has to be female or a youth now. I don't expect the Almache to survive much longer though. They HAVE to get minimum of 2 months of forage next season or they start starving. Fortunately the jungle has constant forage. so it being winter won't be a problem.)
