...
You can trade sheep for goats at a 3 sheep for 1 goat ratio. You find plenty of hammers, spears, bows, arrows, etc. There are also paint mixtures and paint, both wet and dry. There's even deer hide and tree bark "paper". There are a few trained crows, but the effort involved in training them makes the quite pricy, as you know from training your own. You'll be looking at a goat for a single crow. Quite steep indeed.
The chief is going to talk population exchanges, so you don't need to worry about that.

(Do we have traditional native american religion?)
No. Feel free to make your own up.

Does it get me a +1 bonus or something?
See Micelus's post. And who said it would be superior crafted? You got a lot of faith in the skills of a random 14 year old boy :)

...
Your orders are confusing. Do you mean you ORDER your tribesmen to find the village at night? Or do you take nighttime excursions in your wounded state?

start attaching spare bone pieces to my clothes as a passtime as i guard the herd, also check if i can find an longbow (scale armour, used bone or whatever)
You will be able to find all of those things except scale armor. You could probably even trade bone nicknacks for it, if you had any to trade.

...
This all occured in spring. He has his first tatoo.

Purchase some paints for later use. We can find tree bark and hides ourselves.Go about searching for rumours among the camps.

I'm a what now?
Just saying- A shaman would not be 14. And a wandering shaman would not be 14.

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

Well you could be. You don't have to be an old man to be pious. Perhaps you were on your spirit journey?

I wrote myself down as 35...
But I suppose that is probably too old.
Are all of the ages RNG'd?

If so I'll need to change my back-story to fit.

Guess the GM didn't see it.

Guess the GM didn't see it.
Correct.

And yes a Wandering Shaman indeed could be a 14 year old, if the culture has genetic lines as priests rather than particular situations creating them. Kind of destroys a childhood, but the RNG called you 12 first, then 14, so I decided that it'd be funny, and let it go. But yes, your chosen age trumps the RNG in this case.

The GM didn't see it because I added it later.
Sorry about that.

Also, if there's time for teaching the children, I'd also like to subtly assess how good each of their memory and intelligence levels are.

Turns are 3 months long. If you only got 1 action, I assume that you do that for the entire strip. If you got multiple actions, I divide it up a little.

I'm halfway tempted to stretch out the turns to only a single month, but I'm gonna go with the 3 month stretches first and see how that does.

Look after the animals

Experiment with bits of metals to find ways of using them

What bits of metals?

Are you going to attempt to find some amongst the traders? They don't have ingots or solid metal rocks, they only have rings and bracelets and other miscellaneous trinkets.

What are the chances of being able to locate metal deposits in the ground? (I don't really know about geology and metallurgy)
