Well, I don't think I'll be doing anything this season that I can influence, if my children come at about winter ;)

Otherwise: Lalia starts weaving some practical objects for use on the farm, such as ropes and socks (Footwear IS important, can't work with damaged feet)

You aren't on a farm, your in a village of 28 houses.
Also winter is over, so technically you broke "business as usual" as the game started.

Well aren't you sweet. I don't quite know what you could weave that is useful for it, since ropes and such would only be good if they had domestic animals.

Well, sacks for holding the harvest for one, maybe baskets as well (Assuming that baskets use weaving). Even ropes would be useful if it's grains they farm as the bushels can be tied up.

Sorry for taking so long to post, I kept thinking I'd already posted, and then realising I still had the reply window open! ::)
Hmm, have the foreigners left the village to return to their own, yet?
Also, I hope they weren't trying to say something like: ...Actually wait, I won't give you ideas! :P

If the foreigners are still around, Mafun shall ask them for some advice on what to hunt and forage in the area, mentioning the poor hauls they've been having. He will also thank them heartily. Once that's done, he and his two brave companions shall sit down, eat and have a bonding experience, before getting back to their normal duties, i.e, hunting and foraging.
Then everyone (apart from a couple of guards/lookouts in the towers and such) will get on with foraging. Perhaps these strangers have been generous to us, but we still need to build up a surplus!

In Mafun's evening lessons, he shall express a greater interest in learning the Daluche language. Also, he shall, in a strange mixture of languages and gestures, heartily thank the woman who accompanied him for not betraying them. He tells her he realizes the Mokoli have not been very nice people, but their ways have changed now, and she hasn't been treated badly!

Damn. Well I can't really see what else I should do, mainly we just need more food at the moment. Like I said, we need a surplus so we can do other stuff. :-\

I just noticed the El-Effhichen haven't ordered a spring ritual. I'll give you a bit to decide if you do or not. I've already ran most of the turn, but I'm willing to re-run it if anyone else changes their orders too. I'm giving 3 hours 20 minutes from now before I re-run anything that is needed to be re-run. Once it's processed with any changes, I'll post it.

The reason I am giving this opportunity is that the process of the spring ritual will affect the war between the El-Effhichen and the Utia, and I do have a feeling that it's something tack wanted to do every spring.

Yay for Spring!... I have no idea if the Mokoli had any springtime celebrations, although they're likely preoccupied with y'know, trying to survive. :P

If it's any consolation, the Mokoli have survived spring, unless you change an order.
I'm fair. You can do so if you want. :)

Too late for the spring ritual. Turn coming in about 5-10 minutes. I'm doing some cleanup works. Making sure I tracked all the inventory and herd control right.

You guys have a severe problem coming. Please include in your statements what to do if enemy armies show up. If there is enough requests for it, I am willing to do El Effichen in 6 parts. One for each 15 days. To do that, you all need to express it by monday evening. If so, I will do part of the turn each day, with the final 15 days on Sunday.

I'm trying something new with Gokanloa's food caches. We'll see how it works. Basically it'll store surplus food for 1 whole year, and then degrade at a steady rate from there. Since it isn't the standard Stock, it's assumed to be idle and not cycled through.

Mafun, you were exactly 1 man's forage above a weakened state this season. Your forage was also above average for both men and women. Of course average for the men is still not self-sustaining and still counts as bad. I know I've been doomsaying every season, and every season you just barely manage to save off disaster, but that can't last too much longer.

HE GOT ANOTHER ONE?!

Well, he must REALLY be good looking and speaking  8)

Start weaving some finer clothes and such for the family. If there is too much sell some of them to the rest of the village.

Damn.

Send my ravens to the Clan. All of them. The allied ones first. Retreat into the plains. If the Clan arrives, tell them that the foul Utians and their kin have taken  Clanmates and forced them into slavery!

Continue with alphabet. Create traps and leave them behind as we travel. Leave sheep corpses in any water source we encounter, AFTER we drink from them.

If our enemies attack us, have all males (except the Patriarch) defend the camp until the women, children, and Patriarch escape with supplies. Once done, run.
