40 children?! O_O

Anyway: Arv starts organizing patrols in response to the Mokoli. Arv also requests the matriarch to fortify the village. Arv intends to look over the warrior's equipment too, in order to conter the mokoli's raids.

Mafun decides to start off slow in his ascent to manhood (what a wimp) and joins up with one of the tribe's hunting parties, armed with a bunch of throwing spears. 'Hunting' to the Moloki means slaughtering anything they find, with the exception of human females, who the Chieftain has recently decreed to be more valuable as slaves... A rather horrible fate given the small number of females currently in the tribe.

(His stats ended up pretty much exactly how I imagined them, actually! :D )

Tribe: El-Effhichen

Name: Tak'am
Role: Shaman
Age: 35

Tak'am's tribe was annihilated through unknown means during the night. He woke up to find all of his people dead or missing. Fortunately, Tak'am was the only person untouched - Whether it was because his status protected him from the wrath of the gods, or simply because warriors from enemy tribes were fearful of entering his tent without permission. In the latter case, if the decades of generational fear and respect didn't work- Tak always decorated his tent with the heads and skulls of dead animals - sometimes the entrails and blood if it was an important day.
After spending many days ritualistically cremating the bodies, he began to start checking the footprints around the camp, in an effort to find out where his people had been taken. However, after half a day of this, it suddenly began to rain, washing the tracks away, and Tak took this as a sign to move on. During the rain he Gathered together his shaman-ly possessions (except his tent. A new one would need to be built when he arrives at his destination) in a huge rucksack which he slung on his back. Then he ritualistically carved a travel totem - A hiking stick which doubled as a plea for guidance, luck and plenty. (Most of his particular religion was based around the carving of glyphs into weapons, armor and trinkets, which had made him a fair hand with the whittling knife.)
As luck would happen, he was guided to the El-Effhichen tribe. Seeing another tribe on the verge of extinction made the shaman seek out the chief immediately, and request to join - to which the chief replied that many people had been joining without asking anyway, and he didn't have a problem with it.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
God damn cat just ruined 4 hours of putting together a turn report.

Granted 3.5 hours of that weren't ruined since it was fleshing out bugs in a system, but still...

Turn report is coming. Be patient.

(Edit: El Effhichen is ready)
Spoiler: El-effhichen (click to show/hide)

Almache didn't fare so well this turn. Fortunately (or unfortunately) the Mokoli were raiding the Kovan this season.
Spoiler: Almache (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Gokanloa (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Mokoli (click to show/hide)

NPC tribe notes: Koven retreated from a Raiding party in the nearest Koven village to Mokoli but the village and most of it's population remain intact. El-kekein and Meqq-Al both met up with El Effhichen in their summer meeting grounds, which is not anywhere on the map shown. (Jungles are bad places for Nomads and Herds)

Hunt, we need food.  Also, this will serve as practice in spear usage.

You do need practice. Hunting isn't as effective as actually practicing though. It'd be better if you could be trained, but your tribe doesn't really have any spear wielders that I can see. You ARE at the clanmeet, however...

Also, sheep are easier to move than 400 Lbs of food. You aren't in dire straits for food yet, seeing as you still have a flock. Not to say that hunting couldn't hurt, seeing as it would allow you to keep more of your sheep alive. There are other things to do with your sheep, making wool clothing and stuff, but it doesn't appear as if your tribe has it, or that there is free population to spread that skill out. So yea. Goodnight.

List of Things to do at the Clansmeet:
  • Name all tribes gathered
  • See if there is anything of interest to trade from the other tribes
  • Hire 2 shearers to teach Micelus and some of the children on how to shear. Once completed, shear the sheep. Pay them in some woolen hides.
  • Get the Patriarch and go visit with our allies. Ask them if they've heard of any interesting news. Talk about trade routes, friendly tribes, any new trade goods, etc.
  • See if anyone is in the market for children for their tribes. First priority goes to our allies.
  • Go amongst the tribes and hear about the things they've seen in their journeys.
Things Micelus wants:
  • Crows ( the ones the clan have tames)
  • Goats
  • Basic tools (hammers, spears, bows, arrows, etc)
  • Drawing materials (if possible)
Tribe names

Tribe 1= El-Opalq
Tribe 2= El- Ejesaq
Tribe 3= Ignis-Al
Tribe 4= Gazig-Ib
Tribe 5= El- Ibik
Tribe 6= El- Korastani
Tribe 7= Qwem-Al
