Net problems. Trying to fix them. Hopefully it stays up long enough for this to send.
(Edit: So far, so good. I just ran the Mokoli and Almache turns partially.
Taricus, because of your wounds I am not giving you the opportunity to disobey your Matron's first command. She has ordered you to escort the women and children away while the village was attacked. The Almache warriors stayed behind to defend the village. The village was sacked by the Moloki despite the superior readiness of the Almache warriors. The Mokoli caught up with the Almache refugees. The Matron, reinforced by your sister, ordered you to get the children away. The women and the 3 oldest male children will be buying the escape of MOST of the rest of the children with their lives assuming you follow this order. They have chosen you because you are wounded and therefore not an effective fighting asset. Do you follow this order? There are 19 Mokoli tribesmen standing against 8 Adult women, 3 Male Children, yourself, and 36 other children. If you follow the command you might save 29 children. You can also insist some of the women come and help, which will reduce the already slim chance of getting away. The children will not be able to survive without some kind of adult supervision. If you fight in your wounded state you will take a significant penalty to your combat ability. Following this command does not give you a sure chance of getting away, as the Mokoli have already caught up to your band once so far in your flight. If you do follow the command please state your intended evasion methods, since you will then be officially in charge of the remaining Almache and it makes a great difference on your ability to escape.
I am giving you 4 days to respond (Until Monday). The Mokoli turn will be delayed that length of time, as this scenario affects the Mokoli. The rest of the turns will be posted sometime later today.)
(Edit 2: Current Tactical situation of the Almache:
The Mokoli, in purple, advanced on the Almache village and took it. The Almache abandoned it taking with them 5 months of their provisions. The Mokoli did not stay long and continued after the Almache, who retreated westerly. There were several close calls in the last 2 months, but the Mokoli hadn't been outright successful at cornering the Almache until almost the start of winter. The Almache are quite far outside of explored territory, and the season is almost over.
(Edit 3: A Broader picture...
The Mokoli and Gokanloa are both genetically related. They are part of the Mokab people. The Mokab people migrated from further to the north down south, encountering the Daluche people (like the Kovan and the Almache). Sometimes the contact has been good, such as the exchange of farming technology from the Kovan to the Gokanloa. Sometimes it's been significantly less so, such as the Mokoli raids against the Kovan or the Almache refusing to accept the Mokoli as real people.
The Daluche have a lot of forage traditions, while the Mokab do lots of hunting. Neither tend to have large settlements. This means the most built up area in this zone is the Kovan tribal lands.
The Kovan and the Gokanloa both exhibit very similar techniques, though the Kovan tend to rely almost exclusively on farming. They do a little fishing and a little hunting, but are very poor at it.
While the Gokanloa DO know of the Kovan, it is through sporadic contact via sea. There isn't much trading or communication that goes on, although trade is possible and has happened before. It's about a month turnaround for traders from one or the other going by boat. No trade expedition has ever been successful by land. This is partially due to the fact that the Mokoli will eat any stranger they find in their territory. The Mokoli and the Gokanloa do know of each other's general whereabouts, but Daluche people have always been closer to the Mokoli than any other tribes.
El Effhichen and Gokanloa:
Both Micelus and Tak'am have aquired wives.
Micelus's wife has had a daughter.
The Patriarch follows his friend Micelus's suggestion, and the tribe sets out for the Stone Buildings as their winter goal.
Micelus asks the weaver and shearer to get together a rope. The rope looks like it is of average quality.
It is added to the tribal inventory.
The Tribe's sheep are sheared by the shearer. He shears about 5000 lbs of wool. Your small population makes this very difficult to move. Your tribal speed has decreased.
55 sheep are slaughtered to feed the tribe for the season.
Micelus takes the hides and paints on them. He is pretty successful, creating pictograms that depict El-Effhichen history. He has 3 Painted hides now.
Micelus sets off to hunt with Ahra and Nix. They rope two deer. Unfortunatly they prove to be unsuitable for riding. In another 300 years with selective breeding they should end up being domesticated to an extent that they can be controlled. 2/3rds of their hunts find pray. 1/2 of those resulted in roped deer. The other deer managed to get away from roping or from being killed.
Ahra and Azkul attempt to corral a pray animal, but aren't as skilled as Nix in finding pray. They did find a suitable corral, unfortunately they only manage to get 1 bison like creature into the corral. The creature breaks free after having Ahra shoot several arrows ineffectively at it.
Azkul helps with the herd. With his help, one hunter, the shearer, the chieftain, the children who are capable, the tribe's sheep are watched. There was some concern though, and the tribe was at it's limit of being able to moniter the sheep. It would have been easier if Azkul spent more of the month watching the sheep. Fortunately no sheep or goats were lost.
Tak'am practices his spearmaking while tending the children.
El-Effhichen have at the end of this season encountered a new tribe. They can trade with it or ask me details. I'll be doing my best to update details about it as nessessary. It is the builders of the stone structures. The structures resemble Pueblo buildings, but made out of stacked bricks instead of Adobe. (A cross between Inca and Pueblo). They call themselves "Kodana". They do not speak your language. They do not appear to have any domestic animals. Their major trade good is grain. They have extensive fields. The population of the village you are nearest appears to be somewhere between 150-200. They appear to keep slaves. They are not acting aggressive to you. It appears that they are familiar with your clan and appreciate trade visits. There is another 3 villages in travel distance. The village you are at calls itself Actias. To the north is a village called Itium. To the east is a village called Ebanias. To the Southeast is a village called Utia. Itium, from what you can tell of the gestures they are making, is larger than Actias. Ebanias is smaller than Actais, but larger than Utia.

A man died this season. He had strange blots on his skin. Several more people in the village came down with this illness. Noka tended the ill in his role as the Village's shaman. Thanks to him, nobody else died of it and the infection quickly stopped.
While the death was sad, with the death comes new life. The Gokanloa celebrated the birth of a new male child.
The village harvested the fields. They were unable to harvest the entire field. They harvested 13 months of food.
Noka does not find any more otters nearby. It appears they are fairly rare. Noka does not, however, explore very far, as it is known that traveling too far from the village by land is dangerous. The reason for the otters near the village appear to have something to do with the warm water jets that are under the sea in the vicinity of the village. This raises the temprature of the sea, which is quite cold for the tropics otherwise, to a rather warm temprature. In fact, near the jets it can sometimes be quite warm indeed.
Fire carved a otter totem from a large piece of driftwood. The carving is of average quality.

Mafun wove himself a Basket Helmet. His fellow raiders were amused. They set off in a westerly direction.
2 Mokoli die. One to natural causes, 1 to disease. The Medicine man fails to contain the outbreak and it spreads. The Medicine man manages to save some of the villagers, but 28 more die to the disease. (21% of the Moloki population have died to disease this season). 1 male toddler, 2 Female teens, 4 Female adults, and 22 Male adults in total died. The Mokoli have a birth in the village. The Mokoli manage to hunt up 1 month of food. The Mokoli raiding band have not returned this month from the Almache village and therefore their contributions are not added this month.

The Almache discovered the raiding party prior to the Mokoli's arrival in the village. The current War Leader assigned Arv to escort the women and children, since he was too wounded to be very useful. The Almache escaped with 5 months of food. The warriors stayed behind to fight the Mokoli. 9 Almache Axemen stood against 20 Mokoli Clubmen. The Clubmen were well prepared for the raiding party.
At first it appeared the Almache would win the battle. The Mokoli fell upon the warriors and took some damage from it. One Mokoli was cut injured pretty badly, saved by his shield. The Mokoli rallied though and took down an Almache warrior, with the injured Mokoli saved only by his shield. This encouraged the Mokoli, as they quickly took down another two Almache, yet this didn't save the injured Mokoli, whose damaged shield wasn't enough to stop a wicked axe strike. Two more Almache were brought down but they managed to give a slash against one of the Mokoli before they went down. With only 4 men remaining, the Almache broke and ran. The Mokoli clubbed two Almache down as they turned tail. Two got away. The Mokoli persued, catching up to one of the Almache. He was brought down. The remaining Almache warrior rejoined the tribe. He was put to scouting. He discovered the Mokoli approaching the camp four times before the Mokoli discovered him. He was killed attempting to warn of this fifth approach. After two months of persuit, the Mokoli raiders burst into the clearing containing the Almache.
The Matron orders Arv to get the children to safety. Arv disobeys the Matron's commands and rushes out, dancing and chanting and looking like he's casting a spell. Some of the Mokoli hesitate a step, but refuse to be shown up by their war leader OR their youngest member Mafun (who is too wise to be fazed by such silly actions, even while wearing a basket on his head)
The Matron at first appears stunned, then orders two of the women back to help with the children. The rest of the women and 3 teen males rush to Arv's side before he is completely surrounded. Meanwhile Arv gives the warleader a nasty gash.
Arv ends up taking the Point position. The Mokoli rush forward. Their rush is clearly unsteady, and the antics of Arv appear to be making a great deal of difference. The Almache give better than they take.
Things seem to be fairly even, except at the center. The women in the center take a flurry of blows. Arv is struck again in his wounded spot and crumples to the ground, lifeless.
A Player has been struck down by a unnamed Mokoli warrior wielding a club
Bolstered by the fallen "shaman", things quickly turned against the Almache. A flurry of blows landed on the defenders. The Mokoli warriors moved to overcome these individuals and take them captive. The Matron resisted this treatment, but one of the other defenders were overcome.
Things took a bleak turn indeed, as the matron and another woman was captured and one of the male teens killed. The Mokoli made it look easy as they surrounded the remaining women. The women knew that if they were to break, their children would be doomed, so they held on, determined not to fall.
The entire right side folded, and all but 2 of the remaining women were subdued. The remaining male teens were slaughtered, and the Mokoli moved to engulf the remaining 2 defenders.
The defenders were quickly surrounded and overwhelmed. They were subdued and Mokoli began persuit of the escaping villagers. They were fatigued from their running, which may be why they never sighted them again. Still, having captured a good number of the adult women they saw when they arrived, they were satisfied. Some children were left behind. The Moloki did not claim these creatures.
Total people captured by the Moloki:
6 Women.
The Moloki had 1 month of food remaining from the provisions they raided from the Almache. The food that was left behind allowed them to resupply themselves for the trip back home with their new captives.
The Almache managed to keep most of their children alive. They have 33 people remaining. 2 Adults and 31 children. They have only a single month of food remaining.
Almache Population:
2 adult (2 female)
10 "Teens" (1 Male, 9 Female)
8 "Children" (3 Male, 5 Female)
10 "Toddlers" (7 Male, 3 Female)
3 "Infants" (1 Male, 2 Female)
Mafun's helmet had no effect on the battle, but the Mokoli shields continue to be the ultimate weapon in this game. Seriously, they have a very low chance of saving, but seem to block almost all hits directed at them. It's a serious disproportinate ratio. There have been more critical hits that have happened at them, for example, than the save value of the shield, and yet EVERY CRITICAL HIT TO DATE has been blocked by these things. To be fair, Ahra's bone shirt has yet to be tested in battle and has a similar value.
Taricus, you need to decide if you want to keep playing. If you do, pick or create a new tribe and create a new character (you could do Almache, though your character has to be female or a youth now. I don't expect the Almache to survive much longer though. They HAVE to get minimum of 2 months of forage next season or they start starving. Fortunately the jungle has constant forage. so it being winter won't be a problem.)
