Microcline is good stone, it's just the ugly colouring. But if it makes YOUR eyes bleed, it would make elves bleed OUT from their eyes.

The color is its only distinguishing feature and its monkeyfuck - and if it really made elves bleed i'd make a paste and coat my entrance and trade depot with it.

but its microcline - it cant do that, its just old compressed turds with stale puke in them, embedded in normally useful stone.

I'm sorry you dislike the colour of Microcline. Why not go into the raws and mod it if it bothers you so much?
I personally find it quite appealing. And not just because it reminds me of that precious cotton candy.
I do, of course, wish it was actually worth something, but oh well.

Oh - and just remembered -

I was out hiking 2 days ago - and was able to realize that the whole mountain has a humungous vein of microcline running through it. I was tempted to grab a *copper pick* and dig myself a little lair. Microcline is a lot more whitish and less bright cyan in real life. would be cool.

I altered Microcline so that the base color is white, and light blue is the detail color.

Best decision of my life.

It's much less offensive now.
