Rat missions are about as impossible as they are common. >.< Both are true. So, how does the helicopter work exactly? My sabotuer recruit got one, but now he won't (or didn't, he only had it for one raid before we lost) use it.

All the vehicles seem to have rather low chances of actually being used.

They're all pretty strong, but it's hard to say whether they're better than plain old troopers or not.

Helicopter i'm not so sure is better. Jet is definitely worth it. The tanks are debatable for me. They'll usually take out a few waves on their own if they're lucky.

Tanks are awesome. I've only encountered one in the game, but a light tank can take on a few bazooka hits.

Helicopter looks great too. My old team had a helicopter pilot. Double machine guns, excellent speed. The drawback is that bazookas one-hit-kill them and they're huge targets.

But yeah, the odds of getting them are very low (even with pilots), the odds of actually using are even lower. I'd still pick them up over a good skill just for the cool factor.

Muz, we went over this some time ago, but the conclusion we came to is that pilot affects the rate that soldiers use their vehicles, not the rate at which they get them as level-up choices.

It becomes very obvious when you have a pilot with a motorcycle. That motorcycle will trigger most of the time, then.

No, I have not gotten a pilot with any other vehicle yet.

I have two pilots with tanks so i have a lot "tank" experience.
Usually a light tank can survive 2 rockets before turning into scrap.
also having 2 light tanks spawn has a huge drawback... they are so close to eachother that any rockets hitting one damage them both.

Copters seem weak to me. 15 HP and almost no resistance to damage. Hell i saw a dude kill a copter woth double pistols (Solo mission trigger happy and nimble fingers)

The best thing is having both heavy tanks on the field at once.

One armor and only 15 HP.

It's basically a trooper with heavy armor, sprinter and possibly On Point.

I think the worst part is if they run out of ammo (with 23 shots, quite feasible) it'll actually just run off the field and the pilot doesn't show his face later.

also, heavy tanks are not worth the investment. my pilot has one. however, you need 2 scouts to be even able to field it, as it costs 6 deployment points




instead, my pilot could have gotten CHARGE. a very useful ability
