I think "too many recruits" just means "to this particular army".  I guess you can't give recruits to the same guy over and over?

Blitzcraigs VS Human Wave.  Apparently rushdown minigunner is not badass enough to take down six guys at once.  Stupid reloading.
Honksquad VS Akroma.  Lolpoisonfest.
VS lol, rockets.  Miserable defeat.  I sabbed them any everything what happened.
VS Bayam's Wolves.  Also a miserable defeat.

Fun times with Frenetic and a Minigun.
Secondsquid VS Bayam's Wolves.  Surprisingly not a miserable defeat!
VS Khazoff's Crew.  Sadly too one-sided.
Mooson Finally stops shooting rockets at his friends.  Sadly, Don, the only one with enough bullets to finish the job, bites it early, and Secondsquid runs dry in the last few moments.  21 rats, Jesus Christ.  There's a really nice CQC-rocket D-D-DOUBLEKILL in there.

Last Mohican is kind of cool, but probably completely impractical.

Oh God Frost Guard infiltration for Farce too.  Poison robs my chance for an otherwise awesome victory.

Edit: In other words, I have some badass recruits. Badass enough to win when all the best guys got killed before they could clear a single wave. Its the ending that makes me chuckle. Just the "locked" and the amounts of oh shits that must have followed.

Honksquad is contracted for VENGEANCE instead I guess.  Also say hi to Karlotor.  He's my kung-fu guy.  He hasn't been very kung-fu yet, and got his hat just before this mission.
And thus, Goldimes Jr became fated to live the same three days over and over again, until he defeated Skullkid and reunited Maxold with his brother, Tael.  The joke is that it kinda looks like Tatl from Majora's Mask.  Funny right?  ...Right?  Also glitch.
For once, Jefferg ISN'T the mayor of Murder City.  His new hat may or may not be the result of the revelation that you can give recruits to your own recruits.
BLAM.  Three Level 6s VS five Level 5s.  Dakkarokket Mooson and newly-hatted Turret Don stomp some fools.
VS Human Wave.  Mostly just so I could watch a ton of guys get launched.

I got a Munitions man for Meluter's squad!  He basically never runs out of ammo on rat stomping missions now, it's awesome.  Sadly, due to EVERYONE ELSE having shotguns too, they usually kill themselves before the rats do.  I have a pilot who I REALLY wish had gotten medic instead, incidentally.

VS Pomm.  Surprisingly a victory, despite sabbin', due to grenades.
VS Frontier Justice.  Also somehow a victory.  Minispah gets no kills, surprisingly.

Usually Bombarr is the first to die in a battle, before so much as firing a shot. But once he gets in there and starts charging at people, he's pretty badass.
I like it when he does the charge+shotgun to the head combo.
