Ah. It looks like I’m falling… oh, wait, I am. A million things rush to my head, but one thing in particular grabs my attention… it was my dream.
~Ah, Deb. Wake up.~
“Huh?” I slowly stood up, and I realized I was in a small shack… looking out the window, it looks like a medieval village. “Um… where am I?”
“You’re at my house.” I quickly turned around, and there he was. Chestplate, pants, shield, halberd… “Remember me? It’s Tone.”
“Ah, Tone.” I grabbed my head and blinked a few times, seeing if I was making it all up… nope. No, wait. I look around again… it seems I’m in a tower or something. Looking out, the scenery has changed… I’m now looking at the village from a very high angle. “Wait… where am I again?”
“I said it already. You’re at my house. Now, come. Dad wants to meet you.” Tone picked up his shield and stood up, heading for the stairs. I quickly followed, going down the stairs… “This is the guardtower of my village.”
“Ah…” As I blinked, more things starts appearing. Most important, it seemed like, was a banned, depicting a jagged half circle and a not so jagged one. I headed downstairs, following Tone through the village, until I reached a hunt.
“Oh. Look at that.” The ragged man looked up at me, and I could see his face. “You’re the summoner, right? I’m Tone’s father. Nice to meet you.” Someone in a military uniform also bowed at me. He looked like a medic from first glance… “Now, Deborah. You’re here to learn something here, right?” The father said, before.
Blink.
I was in a gazebo, where the uniformed man and I were sitting at opposite ends. It seems a cup of tea has been served for me… “Nice to meet you too. My name is…” He hesitated before speaking his name. “My name is “ and then nothing. As if the name was filtered out of my memory.
“What did you say your name was?” I looked at him, with his face down and off to the sides.
“My name is “ Again, his mouth moved. And I definitely felt like he said something. But what was it? “Ah, it’s no use. I’m really not allowed to do this, you know.”
“What do you mean?”
“Nothing…” The man sighed, and sipped his tea. Unlike the other people, his features came in normally instead of slowly developing. He had black hair, glasses, a medic bag, and a sheathed sword in addition with his regular uniform… “So, Deborah. How do you like this game?”
“Huh? What game?” I was confused… what game was he talking about? I had no idea what he was saying.
“Th- oh, look. It’s time for you to go.” The man smiled and waved at me… and then I woke up. Huh.
Hopefully this gets Siren to level 30.
