*bump*

Just prodding the thread to see if we're maybe going to have a bonus session tonight, and who could make it if so.

Yeah, like I said in the other thread. I don't plan to have another bonus session here until the regular day on monday. Mostly because I want to give people like Edio and Revolver a chance to catch up.

The other game was planning a session tonight though I believe D.

Just for the records in the thread, as I have mentioned, if a spot opens, I want in.  :P

I just got the PDF for Wild Child, reading through...

Thematically, The Wanderer Advanced Class is looking nice for Kathryn-I remember she's already released that one Houndour and possibly a Bunary, and if fits her backstory as one who would release Pokemon rather than keep them for a 'collection' like Debs. :P

@Haika: One, is this adv. class approved yet? Also, are pokemon I snag with a styler and release count for getting the CC prereq?

While your answering that Haika, here is a question about a non-Homebrew class.

The artificer Flute Smith and Flute Smith + feats allow me to make red, blue, yellow, black, and white flutes. The problem is the properties of these items are not defined in the PDF anywhere. Would you be kind enough to tell me how they would work in your campaign before I take the feat(s) to make them?

Here is a link to their ingame effects for reference. http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Flute

I'm going to say that Styler captures don't count as a complete capture and release. As it's not really a capture, it's a tenative hold at best. To get the requirement here you need to release pokemon completely, as in letting them go from a pokeball. And no Scienceing them does not count.

Flutes would act as follows(had to look it up on Serebii, bulbapedia was worthless):
Black Flute = Playing this as a standard action would adjust your encounter roll slightly. Making the chance of no wild encounter more likely.
White Flute = Playing this as a standard action would adjust your encounter roll slightly. Making the chances of wild encounters more likely.
Blue Flute = Playing this as a standard action would awaken one target(non self) from sleep, 20m range.
Red Flute = Playing this as a standard action would break one target(non self) from charm related moves, such as Attract, 20m range.
Yellow Flute = Playing this as a standard action would heal one target(non self) of confusion, 20m range.

All right-What about Styler Capture, and then making them a long term companion?

That'd be way too abusive when you get to the EXP increases. :p

I don't see how! lololol

Really, styler *Companions* are mine in every way, and gain levels like normal mons, they just don't get 'slave-balled'. I mean, if they are not allowed, it'd be hard to say how Wild Child Companions count, but Ranger Companions don't. :P

Then again, It's just the price of $600 dollar pokeball, really, so it doesn't matter to me either way.

I like how you use the full price to justify yourself. :p
