Don't lose time with tibia, there's free UO shards with comparable (if not more) amount of features and good service out there.

You should all be ashamed of yourselves.  The obvious solution is to chain the baby up at the entrance as a kobold detector.

There was a pretty decent RP focused one on this very section. Seriously though, they're pretty common, a quick googling will get you some great ones.

Just stay clear of the russian and brazillian ones :P

use to play this too before the auto aim update , From what i hear its still the same

These words you will HEAR A LOT

BR? -Plague in all servers , Refusing to answer or saying no may get you attacked . they test out your skill levels with their lowbie accounts and if you dare attack back you here this.

U r hunted - means he and his high level friends are going to spend their days using the spells to find and kill you when you log on.
fun times

Give me gold plz - beggers ..lots of them

Word of advice , try and level in a safe area where no one else is around ..Might get lower exp but better skills and safe training is worth it

train with people you know only ..

never carry more EQ then you need , exp in the lowest weapon you can find and in defense mode to skill up faster and build up shield..keep the good stuff in the storage

I actually don't hear any people talking outside of mostly people trying to sell stuff.

My dad plays it on Premia, he's like level 180.

Apparently it's just about dead.  Gold farmers have taken over several servers (Like, literally taken over), and they're moving into Premia now that they've figured out CipSoft doesn't ban premium accounts.  Basically every farming area worth using has gold farming bots and if you fuck with the bots the gold farmers will come with their level 400 characters (Complete with auto-heal etc. scripts) and kill you.  People used to call out when they found rare items until the gold farmers started messaging anybody who did, demanding the item and running them off the server if they didn't hand it over.

Since they're all cheating they're basically impossible to kill, some of my dad's friends blocked a farmer bot in and it took like three hours to kill him because he automatically used potions.

Some of the other servers are even worse, with the farmers making you pay taxes to hunt and charging you gold when you level up.  If you don't pay them they'll kill you and take the level.  It's fucked up and CipSoft apparently doesn't care.

Apparently my dad and some friends have a plan to make a shitload of level 1 accounts, bait the farmers into attacking them, and then logging all the level 1s around.  One spell will kill them all and if you kill that many people you'll get a red skull, which means anyone can kill you as much as they want and if you die you lose everything.  Then the whole server will show up, kill them, and then just spawncamp them until they move onto a new server.

THat or just quit, if the game's at that level of anarchy why bother playing?  Apparently when the server I mentioned where they make you pay taxes complained, the admins said they should band together as a community and overthrow their oppressors.  I would've quit right there, fuck that.

^That's just part of what makes Tibia such an awesome game. The players are DICKS and you have to outsmart them, which usually isn't that hard :P

That story reminds me of this other MMO called shadowbane.  There was a huge presence of chinese players on the server, who banded together under one guild (CN) and took over a server, all the NA and EU players migrated to another server and the CN followed and they were held off for a while, but I think they eventually took over that server too... Good times nonetheless.
