How do you get textspeak wrong? There's like five letters per sentence.

By using the wrong 5 letters, duh :P

Also, I may make a char on this ocean, though it breaks my heart to leave my beautiful 'Cowardly Bass' on Cobalt.

How are you guys coming along?
I've not been playing much, but it would be awesome to play with B12ers!

It honestly feels like a lot of their problems came from the fact that their entire team was composed of cats, and the people who were supposed to be herding them were also cats.

I'll also train gunning eventually, I'm just saving up to get my badges now though.

You DO know that you are going to need to have at least one other gunner besides me, right? Not to mention that I also have to fill in other jobs that need filling... sometimes more than one at once...

Put me on it at noncritical times, and  I will try

I haven't played this in yeaaaars... Is it actually free, now? I know last time I played you got this incredibly rubbish free trial where you could do basically nothing. It was fun for a few minutes, but that was it.
If it's more fully-featured now I might join you guys! :)

On the ocean we're on you don't have to pay for much of anything. Use PoE to buy dubloons to buy "P2P" stuff, or you can buy dubloons with real cash. Very easily playable without spending money.

Sweet. Well, I guess I'll download it sometime and join up. :) Can't download it from my home internet, though.

Been trying this out. Going through the start and stuff, but every time I start getting the hang of the puzzle. That Status catchup thing pops up and I go back to square one cause I forgot where what was and what I was putting where and shit... PISSES ME OFF!!!

Bought a cutter which is nearly finished, so we have yet another ship. Working on the money for the officer badge at the moment.

@Origin, It's not really our fault you felt compelled to fill all the gaps, there were more than enough of us to manage.

Also I will be on iRC shortly, I got up late :(

A fair warning to anyone who goes to use the cutter I bought last night. I hopped on just a few minutes ago to take it back to Admiral Island. I figured four leagues would be pretty safe with Swabbies. And I was right until we got within 20 seconds of Admiral island and a Fanchaun appeared out of the mists and added an indoor swimming pool to the Cutter.

So right now we're sitting at about 45% damage and 95+% bilge on the cutter. I apologize but I already tried to get the swabbies to work on it but they'd take forever it seems to get the damage down enough that bilging actually does something. Whoever runs the cutter next needs to make sure to max out the carp and bilge station for the first league or two. Won't take long to buff the damage out with the Bay12 crew, given we have a bunch of good carpenters and bilgers.
