I've no idea how to find my ref link in the steam version, so if anyone can help with that please do tell me.

If you guys want to donate hop on IRC and message me there or in game, I'll invite you to my house and you can toss me whatever you wish to donate there.

Scaraban (Sage)now
I'm all right at the main puzzles, but every once in a while my computer decides to randomly black out the screen when I play PP, dropping my ranks.

Not in the least Origin. The steam version is just a little more convenient for those who do not want to remember accounts or passwords.

Uh... Does it matter if you are doing it off of steam or the actual site?

Accounts on the main site and Steam are separate: Running it through Steam connects it to your Steam account, running it through the main site connects it through your account there.

To everyone asking where to send donations!

Send a /tell to Denzi (That's his IGN, Denzi), and if he's on, ask him to teleport you to his home. Trade him everything you want to donate, and if you haven't, go to the inn and set it as your home. Whammo.

Will note here again that I've only noticed one submission for a crew name. Would love to hear some suggestions and get some kind of clear winner, though Children of Armok does sound pretty good.

Hemmingjay: Log out to the login screen and you should see 'Ocean: Viridian (Change)' below where you type in your acct info (or where the big shiny login button is for the steam version)

Edit:

Drkpaladin has just donated 65,000 pieces of eight bringing us up to a total of roughly 60 doubloons. We have enough money now to both create a crew (once I get bnav to narrow and swordfighting to narrow, not too long) and buy our own sloop. IT is at this time that we seriously need to get a name voted on. Drkpaladin has expressed no specific desire in naming the Crew but I'm giving him a very strong vote in where it goes.

I say we either name our crew Children of Armok, or Magma Rumblers. Our flag name could be You Got Boatmurded and our colors would be red for
Magma and light blue for cotton candy OR black for the charred bones of Elves.

well this sucks. I have doubloons to donate, but won't let me connect now that I am trying to change oceans. Says something about experiencing a problem authenticating with steam. grrrrrrr

I vote for 'The Mighty Magma Sailors'.

Are you using a shortcut? I had that same issue until I launched it from inside of steam when I had a patch to apply.

I do like the sound of Children of Armok.  I randomly chatted one or two people today who were somewhat familiar with dwarf fortress within Puzzle Pirates.

Ductape just donated 30 doubloons and Hemmingjay just donated 40 doubloons So we have some nice build up for buying charts and commodies for the ship. Once the name is settled I'd like to have a chat with everyone on how to spend invest this money

Edit: I bought us a sloop, we all now own the 'Dumb Spot'

I guess if we get enough rogue marks through some kind of dark magic we could rename it the dumb carp.  :P
