What does a stAARter badge do? I have one in my inventory due to the promotion.

the stAARter badge lasts for 5 login days and functions as both a pirate and a parlor badge.

I'll be getting online in a minute Seriyu, hop on the IRC chat (mibbit link if you do not have a client is in the first post) and I'll be able to chat with ya.

I'll be afk for the next 10 minutes, but if you get on IRC you will definately get me or someone else (good six of us in here at the moment, so someone should be playing)

I think it acts as a parlor badge and a pirate badge.  The parlor badge lets you play all the inn games (poker, swordfighting etc).  I can't remember if the pirate badge does anything really worthwhile, its just stuff like access to the gunning/navigation practice missions.

Btw Kirubo http://sage.puzzlepirates.com/yoweb/pirate.wm?target=Kirubo is my pirate on sage.  I've been playing this game on and off since more or less when it was first released, I haven't played in about a year, but feel free to look me up in game if you want info on anything.

Making a guy now.

Schmeep, going to Sage, since that seems to be the coolest place ever.

Puzzles and Pirates. This is everything I've ever wanted.

On sage right now you could set up a buy order to get doubloons at 1,766 PoE per a doubloon.

One thing that would be awesome is if you could see if you have any charts you could consider selling us. That's the other big thing we will need once we get the ship are at least a handful of admiral-island centered charts so we can find stuff. Alternatively if you could point us to an NPC or something else we could get some basic charts on that'd be awesome too.

Edit: Crap, didn't think I Was in a new post... Sorry guys!

Since we haven't really had much of a discussion, anyone who feels like it is free to send me any doubloons they have and I'll hang onto them. Either catch me on IRC or in game and I'll tele you to my house so you can give them to me, or you should be able to /tip doubloons to me. If anyone has an issue with this do not hesitate to ask.

Edit: On the note of sending me money for the crew, if you do make sure you announce it to me so I know to mark it down someplace (likely in the first post).

Edit2: If anyone needs help on the puzzles do not hesitate to ask, but if you'd like to watch some video guides on the minigames Dachimpy has a pretty good website set up (not the best layout, but decent guides none-the-less) You can find them here: http://www.dachimpy.com/index.php

Sea charts aren't entirely necessary. Duty navigation will do stuff. I mean, if you're navigating for the navy between an island several times, you'll end up with that chart memorized.

Yeah, but sea charts would certainly be useful to have for the gaps that may form.

I've never used IRC before, but now's as good a time to start as any, I figure. Just letting you know that now in case I can't follow the simple directions handed to me.

Follow the Mibbit link in the OP. It's an online client, and will link you directly to our IRC server. All you have to do is choose a username.

Just received a 6,000 PoE donation from Psyberian! This brings us up to just under 11 doubloons (like 300 PoE short). I've folded his money into my margin trading in hopes of getting us more money while everyone does stuff. Give him a hand folks!

Should make a donation list so people who donate get credit.
