Woo first turn!
All
You all sit in the interior of a Willspeed transport, just you, the driver who is in his own section, and a logistics officer. (He's only carrying a Mindrifle, after all). You're all on the way to a new base, to assist in the war between the forces of Lachesis and those of Angra Mainyu, the evil spirit of Zoroastrianism, who Lachesis believes must be destroyed to keep the balance. You've all come from a recruiting station, with the exception being Sinclair, a mercenary of Slender Man (Lachesis hires mercenaries of all alignments in a carefully balanced way), who keeps on getting distrusting looks from the logistics officer. You're halfway on the way to the new base, powering through a desert... [Observation 4+1 vs DC 3+2]And Casaeron thinks he sees some figures in the distance...

Sinclair attempts to create an illusion of a deck of cards, then asks anyone if they would like to play. If not, he plays solitaire.

Try and figure out what I can see in the distance.

Casaeron Syrth
Try and figure out what I can see in the distance.
[Wisdom 6+1 vs DC 4+2]
You look more carefully out the window, and your eyes screw up as they focus on the figures. There are four of them, and the figures are definitely humanoids, and one of them takes out a large looking rod, and puts it on his shoulder. He puts something into it.
Sinclair
Sinclair attempts to create an illusion of a deck of cards, then asks anyone if they would like to play. If not, he plays solitaire.
[Intelligence 1+1 vs DC 3] Sinclair attempts to create a quick illusion of a deck of cards, the small kind that doesn't consume any energy. He gets a stable one going, but then it goes out with a pop of color. Frowning, he tries again. [Intelligence 2+1 vs DC 3] This time it works, and he makes a simple deck of bare cards- he should be capable of more, but he's been out of practice.

Sinclair, Stephen, Keenan Ghrith 'Sephiroth', and Daniel Simmons 'Ochita'
Keethan accepts hoping to improve his poker face and win a game.

Daniel decides to decline, and he watches the game with some interest.

Stephen accepts out of lack of anything to do. He warns Sinclair not to try anything funny.

Stephen and Keenan agree to play a game of poker, while Daniel just sits back and watches.

[Luck 5] Keenan ends up getting the Dealer's tab, and passes out the phantasmal cards.
Sinclair [Luck 5] Stephen [Luck 6] Keenan [Luck 5]
The cards get put down 2 (hearts), 3 (hearts), 4 (spades), and a pair of 5s (hearts and clubs), and Keenan keeps his face straight as he lays down a straight, leading Sinclair to triumphantly put down a Flush. Stephen simply laughs as he plonks down two 5s, a four in a kind. Sinclair and Keenan gape, and Stephen rakes in some money.

Try to conjure up some dice and play Craps with them if anybody wants to, if not then Keethan just practices predicting outcomes.

Sinclair politely declines the dice game and works on his parlor tricks, namely trying to change the color of the vehicle to that of the sand, in case they actually are under attack.

Caesaron warns the others that they may or may not be under attack, and indicates the figures to them.

Keethan Ghritsh 'Sephiroth'
Try to conjure up some dice and play Craps with them if anybody wants to, if not then Keethan just practices predicting outcomes.
Keethan asks if people want to play Craps. Sadly noone wants to, so Keethan works on predicting outcomes.
[Wisdom 2] Keethan can't predict the outcomes acuracy, unfortunately.
Sinclair politely declines the dice game and works on his parlor tricks, namely trying to change the color of the vehicle to that of the sand, in case they actually are under attack.
Sinclair
Sinclair works on his changing color tricks, attempting to change the color of the vehicle in case of attacks.
[Charisma (light tricks like this are Charisma) 3+1 vs DC 5] He fails, he can usually do this but the transport is just too large, and a stripe of the color moves across the transport, but the thing is left regular-color.
Daniel decides to try some mind reading, light mind reading.
Daniel attempts to lightly mind read the people inside the transport [Charisma 5 vs Casaeron Will 1+1] You pick up some warning thoughts from Casaeron, [Charisma 5 vs Sinclair Will 2], Sinclair trying to change the color of the vehicle, [Charisma 5 (And I'm rerolling these O.o)vs Stephen Will 2], Stephen's pride over winning, [Charisma 6 vs Keenan Will 1] Keenan's thoughts and self-disappointment about not predicting outcomes spilling like wine out of his head. [Charisma 2 vs Logistics Officer 3+1] But you can't figure out what's in the Logistic's Officer's head, you went bad there. [Charisma 6 vs ??? Will 6] You also pick up some very vague aggressive thoughts from far outside the transport. Huh. Wait a minute...

Stephen just goes on about how he won.

Stephen
Stephen brage loudly about how he won. [Charisma vs Logistics Officer Charisma 3]. The others seem fine with it, but the Logistics Officer gives him a warning glare, he needs to quiet down, it's annoying.
Caesaron warns the others that they may or may not be under attack, and indicates the figures to them.
Casaeron Syrth
[Observation 6+1 vs DC 5] YOu keep on looking as you warn the others about possible attack, and notice a red glow around the midsection of the figure's rod-like thing.
