There cliffs surrounding you on three sides and the ocean blocks the fourth. You can see stairs leading up the cliff. A lighthouse is located above the cliff.

Try to rescue anyone still alive.

Find a safe way off of the vessel while calling out and searching for your life-long friend!

There seem to be no one else alive. A few corpses float to shore. The rest have sunk into the sea.

Yes, also look for any supplies from the ship, possibly in the barrels and other containers. 

You find a decent length of rope, a telescope, some papers, and a book titled 'Blood of the Mer-vampire'.
Some barrels have floated to shore. Most of them are filled with various spices. A few contain salted meat.
A crate has washed to shore, but you can't open it.

Try to remember stuff

Based on the stuff you found, you remember the ship you were sailing with was a merchant vessel.

My scanner refused to cooperate after scanning the first image. I originally drew the cliffs on paper.

Read the book and papers, then try to find some bag-like container to store the food in.  Take the telescope, rope, everything useful, then look for a rock.  Sharpen the rock, caveman style.  Find a stick, sharpen it using your sharp rock, and get yourself a rudimentary spear.  Then use your sharpened rock to open the crate.

Can you also post an updatable inventory list?

After that segment, you declare it to be the worst book you ever read. The papers don't seem to be much more useful, except one, which you remember to be a map of your destination. Only a small fragment is left.

Upon further consideration of your situation, you mysteriously (and conveniently) discover a backpack. You stuff your stuff into the backpack.
You find a rock. You find another rock. While trying to sharpen a rock with the other rock, you find you now possess three rocks. While further trying sharpen the rock, you find that those three rocks have become four (smaller) rocks. You give up your rock sharpening exercise and look for a stick. After a while, you do manage to get a surprisingly sharp stick. The crate can't be opened though. It is getting dark. What do you try next?

Head to the restaurant, keep a careful eye out, always hold the SSS.  Also, use Twilight the worst book ever as fire kindling, in case you need it.

You decide to go to the restaurant, keeping a careful eye out, while simultaneously carefully avoiding poking your eye out with the SSS. You keep the Worst Book Ever in case you ever need to bore someone to death.

As you walk up the stairs, you see animal corpses around the lighthouse. The road to the lighthouse is stained with blood.


You are slightly disturbed by the carcasses but nevertheless continue to the restaurant.



"Welcome to Big Dave’s Seafood. How may I help you? And also why are you carrying a stick?"

The restaurant guy nervously ducks behind the counter.



A second later, he doesn't return. You look over to investigate and find some sort of a trapdoor right where he was standing. Huh.
