Well, this sparked his interest. A debate, good....

Before he started debating however, he needed to correct a fact.
"It may not have came from a dying race, it may have come from the gods themselves or the spirits. I truly have no idea."

"But in your tale, the servant was but a servant. He served well, did as his master said, and robbed him of all his worldy possessions. There is a difference however between this tome and the servant. The servant did nothing but steal and serve. This book aids the people, it prevented chaos and evil. It may steal my life, but what of it if it helps others? My life is meangingless if the people are still suffering."

"But yes, I do see your logic, but I don't believe this tome even keeps the lifeforce it takes from me; it goes into the creations such as the fern over here. It is but another part of my blood, another part of heart and mind. This book is just a tool, not some entity wishing destruction upon this world. And besides, we'll all probably die before they are done with us, and the tome will be lost to the worlds forever."

Tyetoechl smiled in a reptillian way, thinking of the uselessnes of debating when they were just goingto die in a few days time. But that was life, was it not?

Only blue instead of black. ((Wesley is above all a good guy, he just says a lot of racist stuff, and he does show mercy, he just doesn't like saying that he is, because it goes against his beliefs. In his world the Japanese were basically the Germans in WW2.))

"I wasn't talking to you, CHAP!"  Wesley stood up defiantly, "and I didn't nearly die for my country just be told by some pansy ass that I'm not British.  So mine your own God damned business, and GOOD DAY."

Wesley took a deep breath before sliding back into his corner.

(Again, Red thinks he understands people completely. And Red came from a world just like ours except monsters exist and they hide underneath the world, so he just assumes that Wesley came from the exact same world and has the exact same history)

Red sighed. Time to stop being mystical and get to the whole point of this. He liked speaking like an actual oracle, but something serious was going on and sometimes you just needed to do things.

"Odd, coming from a man who probably never fought the Japanese, unless you were born in America, which undermines your own point." He said. "Now, this is getting nowhere fast. Debating and getting uppity about all this is not going to solve our problem. Where are we? Why were we taken? Should we not kill each other in the arena? Do the powers that be want to drive us against each other so that we have a reason to fight? This whole thing seems very questionable."

Felicia floats off to one side, her flames burning with a familiar(to her) crackle. Her soul-less eyes scan the room, and her voice breaches the silence with it's strange burning echo when she is asked her name, "Felicia."

She stays where she was left by her master. The order to fight has not been given by the arena announcer master said to obey. Eventually she will fight, and if she wins, her torture will be ended.

Chimeros stared at the flaming apparition. "What the bloody hell are you supposed to be..lass?", He asked. He wasn't sure but the figure appeared to be female.
"That looks like it hurts", He said staring at the flickering flames.

"Shit! Co-Urggggh"

Whirl pukes his guts out on the floor for a moment, before regaining his composure and completing his statement. "Cock. Fuck!"

The soldier gets to his feet somewhat unstably. "Unbuffered transfer? Bloody hell."

He looks around the room warily. An artificial setting combined with the unbuffered transfer clearly implied hostile kidnapping action. "Can any of you chaps tell me what the heck is going on here?"

Whirl is vaguely British in mannerism, and his combat blades are recognizable as being Gurkha-styled Kukuris, albeit with a slightly different look and vastly superior construction. He's going to consider himself better than anyone else around, just because, as a Kukure, he's got a fair bit of knowledge about the travels between worlds.

Felicia looked upon the smallish creature. He didn't seem quite as human as some of the others, perhaps this alone made her answer him. "I am Felicia." Her words echo like a small fireplace in a silent log cabin. "And yes... it hurts..."

The flame spirit closes her eyes for a moment, focusing on the familiar pain and suffering that she wraps around herself like a cloak. It was reassuring at least that some part of her could still feel anything.

Opening the dark pools that remain where her eyes long ago succumbed to the flames she asked, "Are you human?"

Despite, being kind of creepy looking this flaming girl seemed to be alright, Chimerus thought, by alright he meant didn't devour his flesh.
"Am I human?!",Chimerus asked. Chimerus let out a howling fit of laughter.
"No, I'm mostly goblin but I have some dwarvish kin, but I am-was a member of The Republic of Xun. I had several human friends, before the human imperials from the north threw me into bondage, but you....Felicia, are you...were you human?" Chimerus replied.

"Yes.. I am human." Her words seem sad, almost pathetic as she clings to the hope in her mind. "Most of my friends were not though." Her echo voice takes on a nearly nostalgic tone. "You almost look like some of the zombies that Master made, but smaller, and less messy..."

Lieutenant Samuel Pierce regarded his new companions in silence. A million thoughts swirled over in his head, fighting for dominance. There was a strange pounding in his head which was proving very distracting. He'd had to suppress a brief pang of panic earlier - what if all his efforts had been in vain, and he'd been caught and recycled? - but that was proving somewhat unlikely. He hadn't forgotten anything, he was still wearing the same clothes and the... people in the were a far cry from the nondescript mass of soldiers he had fought with.

Then what? He had little memory of how he came to his place. The others' reactions varied - some did not seem very surprised or worried about their newfound location. Perhaps he was dreaming - that would certainly explain the outlandish appearances of some of them - but he couldn't remember dreaming before. Or well, his memories told him he had slept and dreamt in the past, but he had long since stopped relying in them. Abandoning Charlotte and their child had been the hardest part. Her face and that beautiful, melodic voice he so loved still haunted his thoughts.

In the end, he came to the conclusion that they had been kidnapped, to fight in some arena like the gladiators of old. He wasn't sure, but it felt right, and the fragments of conversation he was picking up supported the claim. He frowned. From one kind of slavery to another. Was there no justice in this world?

No matter. He had escaped from his old life, if only briefly, and he would escape from this one as well. There was not enough data yet for him to make any sort of plan, but he was sure there'd be ample opportunity to do so in the future.

He was shaken out of these thoughts by one of his companions motioning frantically to him. Samuel looked him up and down briefly. A giant of a man, with legs of steel or some similar material. How strange. The Union Jack displayed prominently on his uniform calmed the Lieutenant somewhat. He knew how the British mind worked. Perhaps this fellow could be convinced to help him escape.

Samuel listened to the man introduce himself and throw a few half-hearted insults towards Orientals. He didn't need to hear his rank to know he wasn't an officer. No discipline, no knowledge of how to speak to a superior. He smiled politely.

'Lieutenant Samuel Pierce. You are somewhat correct in your assumption - I am indeed an officer of the Royal Navy, but I am afraid the world I hail from is an artificial construct, nothing more. Perhaps you would know something of that? I have gathered it was a place called New Hong Kong, a home of technologies and machinery beyond my understanding.'

He was interrupted by a youth in the corner. He listened to the confrontation between him and this Wesley King with interest. The strange youth could also be a valuable ally. Hopefully, there would be time to speak with all of them yet.

"Artificial?" Wesley was a bit confused, but came to his senses shortly after and stood and salute. "Wesley King, Sergeant of the Queen's great army, at your service, Lieutenant Pierce."  Wesley stopped a bit short of explaining his special status. "New Hong Kong?"  The realization that he wasn't just kidnapped from his planet, but brought to another universe all together finally hit him.  "Does.. Does anyone know were we are?"

The Lieutenant gave a pleased nod at Wesley's salute. Much better. He'd make a real soldier of this man yet.

Samuel considered his reply to the question for a while, glad at the pause in conversation the supersoldier's question to the room had given him. He desperately wanted to tell someone of the never-ending life of war and death he had suffered, his anguish at living in a world not real and at the memories he had cherished, even though he knew them false. There was no telling how this brash giant would react if he revealed he was not quite human, and he had no intention of scaring off a potential ally.

Thankfully, Wesley had turned his attentions to figuring out if anyone knew where they were, ridding him of any need to reply. He made a mental note to evade the question if he asked it in the future. Samuel stood back and studied his companions reactions to the question. If they had any knowledge of this place, they might be able to help him to his freedom.
