There really isn't one, you level up from just doing whatever your profession is....

AND they have a skill called TEACHING that certain players take. It allows them to level you faster then any other way IG by roleplaying with you. Usually people like Academics, Master Smiths or Captains of the Legion have it.

I used to take it on all of my chars, since it really helps you fit into the leading role.

RP'n with five or so raw-recruits the finer points on combat and tactics while they all become more experienced then before the lesson is a way better method then (( I killed some goblins, now I'm stronger))

Hm... Looks quite interesting... Can someone give me a rundown of the gameplay? It looks like SS13, just medieval, isometric, and lacking the @ssholes.

Have any of you people who said you'd try this gotten in? Can you give a quick run-down on thoughts about the whole thing yet?

Well as long as it wasn't an application to play as Professor Double-Dong King Cannon Mage ((also a vampire)) things Usually proceed at a reasonable pace. They -DO- have an IRC channel however, if you had any questions

I couldn't get the client to install and then update properly under Wine on Ubuntu. Anyone else ever tried doing this?

I've been really interested in this, but I've been putting it off since it requires an application. I know it's a necessary part of ensuring that the bar is set high for the quality of RP, but it takes sooooooo long.

What's the playercount like, by the way?

I'll give it a shot at some point. I haven't done any good RP in a while.

EDIT: Alright, I applied.

Also, one of the features I particularly liked was the ability to relayer any non-armor artical of clothing. So you could have the exact same armor as another dude, but look completely different through the creative use of clothes and armor.

Examples

A heroic Legionaire in heavy armor, only peice not worn being his visored helm.

A Mysterious Assassin

I'm new to roleplaying but I think i'll give it a try. So in order to have a good application, I have to read all the backround and write my character's backround?

Well, it never hurts to read the lore, or drop into the IRC channel. But honestly it's pretty straight forwards. It's not like you'd be writing up an application saying your the Emporer's son or something. You can never really go wrong with an average joe with a reasonable profession and life.

My suggestion, make a milliner.

A milliner?

Anyway, I've still got to read a lot of backstory to create a believable alyrian dude, but there's just sooo much! I wish there was a summary of sorts. Maybe you could give what you've wrote in backround for reference?

Well, the quick reference? Alyrians are terrible. No one takes them seriously. They've a long history of having their homelands utterly destroyed ((three times so far!)) And not taking sides during conflicts that directly concern them.

Basically Elves

Much better off making a racist, sexist Tyrean.
