The title basically says it all. I just can't seem to get bridges and levers to work right. Any advice would be very appreciated.

In what sense do they not work right? Did you build a bridge and a lever? Did you tell a mechanic to link them? Did the job finish?

Build a bridge. Then build a lever. Then 'q' over the lever and select the task "link up a bridge". This will give you a menu with all constructed bridges. Use +-*/ to scroll through it. Everytime you select a bridge, the screen will automatically center on the bridge in the viewport, so it's easy to tell which bridge is which. After that, hit enter and it will bring up a list of available mechanisms that you have which will be used to link up the bridge. You need two mechanisms to be able to link up the bridge.
