Seriously, I've heard multiple Bay12ers recommend this, but I cannot find a place to download.  I dont care if it's not free, so long as it's not exorbitant, I'd actually feel better buying it than getting a pirated version, unless it's turned freeware.

I ordered a copy of it last year from them, so it was still a viable way to get it at least fairly recently.

They've explained something along the lines of their DRM not being fixable as why they can't offer digital downloads. Hopefully the iphone port does well enough that they can afford to do a remake or sequel.

A sequel of this game would be AWESOME.  Has anyone managed to create a super large tribe?  Once I hit around 1600-2000 people they always want to split off.

Yes, large tribes cause people to split away, such is the limitation of early feudal society. I think war might be the answer to your overpopulation problems though (It kills excess population, captures slaves who won't demand to leave and gets you extra land in case your people will still try to split away). Just, friendly advice, don't kill the ducks.

I loved this game to bits, but I keep getting stuck when it wants you to form a kingdom. I form a kingdom, get one of my peeps elected king (queen), and promise everyone whatever random nonsense they want... then have no means of fulfilling the promises and get de-kinged for being a liar. How do you fulfill those miscellaneous promises? I can't find the in-game mechanic to do those things!

Hm I've never tried to kill the ducks.  They've always been so nice to me.  I've never gotten to the clan making parts.  I just play till I get my tribe to expand and take the lands of like 3 nearby tribes then I get bored when my people wanna split off.  Guess I should pick it up again.

I've been doing some beta testing of the iphone/ipod version and it's translated very well! It's being submitted soon so expect to see it in the near future.

I believe he'll be going for a 9.99 price point.

So I'd seen this game mentioned around here....

And I'm really blown away by its depth and quality. It's right up there with Dominions for having game play done to the hilt.
