There needs to be more games like this one.

It seems to me (correct me if I am wrong) that the programming side of a game like this would be pretty simple by todays standards. What would be the most work is the writing and art.

If I ever were to make a game, it would be something like this but with a few dashes of Crusader Kings style personality management. Do it in a space setting, a la Frank Herbert's Dune books with lots of political intrigue and mysticism.

(I dont have time to make a game really, no programming skills, no patience to learn them, etc. I cant do the art. All I could do is write. Yeah, not gonna happen)

More or less, you'd be using some really simple structures. A game like this would require a lot of dedication to writing pseudo-AI though.

But I agree, more narrative story-telling games prz.
