Queen has arrived and now my fortress is mountaimhome. And she's an elf. A tame one, as listed in the units screen. And I can't give her throne rooms, tombs etc. cause she's considered an animal (duh). So I want to kill her. Question is - will I get a new monarch after an unfortunate accident?

Nope, I haven't. Well, that sucks. Gonna settle duke in that awesome bedroom etc.

By Armok, the shit has gone crazier: I ordered adamantine clad militia to chop down queen's consort - a friendly elf standing on the edge of the map. And militia began fighting EACH OTHER. No harm done - all shots parried/deflected, and they got lot's of experience. But it's still weird.

Never kill an elf who is the dwarven leader.

Don't think "a puny elf is my king".  Instead think "what sort of a badass of an elf must this be, to lord over dwarves?"

Upload your save if you can, I'd like to view legends mode there and see what the elf queen did.

why shouldn't I kill her? she's already one lever-pull away from going to the great forest in the sky. It is actually possible to get her out of the drowning chamber, but I'd prefer her to be dead when I'll do it. What are the consequences of her death will be like?

Some artists depicted him with such.  Seriously, read the thread, it's in the hall of legends.  The first few pages often mock him, before they realized his power.
