Air is boring?

Air is required for metal working...
No that's ground and air. Can't do metalworking while flying around.

The Pilot and their cargo handlers paused when they saw that the entire camp is covered in eldritch runes coated in blood. And rotting monkey corpses everywhere..

They decide that they didn't get paid enough for this..

Yes. We shall become a flying forge-squid. Which forges daggers then drops them on people.

It is impossible, the heat required for the forging would kill you.  Any form of protection against the heat would not allow the raw materials to get in, allow the manipulation of the materials, and the removal of the finished product.[/voice of reality]

We already have an external stomach. A second one, in which we then inject things that will heavily react whit each other, with a layer of antiheat things between us and the burning, and an opening towards the air to burn.

Also a great pro for fotosynthesis, as it allows us to get a source of fuel that is consitent, and if we alter the process a little we get h2 along with o2, allowing us to fly and burn things.

So basically what you're suggesting is a hindenburg forge-squid?

This is the best idea ever.

Actions, then?

6 CO2 + 12 H2O → C6H12O6 + 6 O2 + ( 6 H2 + 6 O )

Democracy seems to favour usage of pressure-based muscles over the more proven filament-based muscles.

Oh yeah. hydraulic muscles.

Dacing would be very awkward for our creatures.

Depends upon how efficient and fast the hydraulic muscles are.

And besides, who said they'd dance in the same way as humans? It'd develop in a manner suitable to the physiology of the species.

C6H12O6 + 6 O2 + ( 6 H2 + 6 O )?

So we combine carbon dioxide and water to make glucose, plus oxygen and hydrogen.

Hrm... I do not like the look of that free hydrogen. That'd be very explosive- so we really would be a hindenburg squid.
