Also, We should develop a laser range finder (bounces a laser and measures how long it takes to return, probably by interference with a laser bounced a known distance), instead of normal passive vision.

Red blue white doesn't seem to me to scale well, better to keep it simple, black/white = cold/hot or red/blue = cold/hot or some-thing like that...

Enhance laser efficiency/use less powerful lasers.
