Turn 15
As it drags you farther towards an opening in its shell, you quickly inject the pseudopods holding you with the membrane-eating enzyme. Using your amazing speed you dart around it, looking for openings in its shell. You finally find a crack in its plates, near the base of one of its pseudopods. You analyze its membrane composition with your data processor and mimic the proteins on its surface. By bonding with the amoeba's membrane, you are admitted through it. You are now inside the amoeba. Your sight does not work, because there is no light, but your cilia help you navigate inside. This is one huge amoeba. There is plenty of room for you to move around.

Meanwhile, the armored amoeba rotates around and around, searching for its vanished prey. After it realizes that you are gone, it goes back to searching for food, propelling itself slowly along with its pseudopods.

Explore for DNA and parts we can absorb.

Optional: figure out how to construct our own armor by reverse-engineering the chemical basis for the amoeba's

simpler: Kill it. release organit-killer enzym en masse, salvage DNA, grab the armor.

Don't do any of those things, instead lets TAKE OVER the amoeba, BECOME it:

1) If the amoeba have any data processing organelle or other thing like that, disable it.
2) Absorb a copy of it's DNA and RNA that we mark in such a way they will not be read and won't do anything. We can pick apart any valuable information at our leisure later.
3) release enzymes that will break down all it's RNA and DNA.
4) before the enzymes kill it, make a copy of our own Data processing organelle and DNA, and instal it in the amoebas system.
5) stay hooked up to the data processing organelle having a shared pool of informations and such. Basically puppeteer it.

6) start customizing it, this be the turn after since exactly how to do that should be player determined, but it probably involves giving it, that is now us, all the old stuff we had/have.

Lets tap into its nucleus, steal its DNA info, and pull an Alien and explode out of it dramatically. Afterwards, just eat what's left.

Why would we destroy anything? We can use it much better but just directly using everything!

What Armok said, but also amalgamate our two forms, so that we retain our current unique features.

That was step 6. We'll do it, but next turn so that we get some feedback forst and have more controle over how it's done.

Ehwot? Spikes of what kind? Spikes might be hard to manage at your current size. If you want more complex things, you're going to have to start dividing and making more cells (HINT HINT :D).

Very short pseudopods with very long protein-based or calcium-based shards at the end. As a single cell it should be easy, as a multicellular monstrosity it would require all manner of specialisation and propagation of detritus...
