Umm... eyes don't work without more than 1 cell, I mean we could in theory detect the amount of light as a single cell... or do a hell of a lotta evolution or make it up as we go along

You could have patches that detect light, I suppose. But eyeballs wouldn't work at this size.

There aren't many advanced multi-celled organisms at this point... Of course, "hibernating" in an endospore might work if you wanted there to be more advanced creatures to infest or encounter.

We need torpedoes. For that we will need detachable appendages, separate decision-making and propulsion, a warhead, and possibly some for of armour-piercing technology. I propose that we start by building spines and then work on getting poison into them...
