WHAT IS THIS I DON'T EVEN

I don't even know what the hell happened to this world.

I begin my adventure like usual, talking to the townspeople and getting quests, I notice a bit of weird lag but I move on.

I then go to the world map and travel next to a fortress and get out of the world map, suddenly...
I get about 2 messages of finding an expansive cavern deep underground, finding a magma pool, and a downward passage.  I then get caught in a cloud of boiling magma and silty clay but somehow survive.
I go to the world map and try a different entrance to the fortress, when I get in there are wolves dying in boiling magma so I kill the ones attacking me and move on.
I try a DIFFERENT entrance, next thing I know I get hit by major lag and apparently fall down a 20 z level hole and blast apart and die.

Oh, and the landscape looked so..deep and weird.

Like there were multiple z-level holes all over the damn place.

We can only assume that there was a chasm. Or that the very underworld itself opened up upon this fortress. Or worldgen bug and fortress built over it

That's why some people intentionally play with double raws.

Yeah but doing that with the latest version gives more crashes than it used to ;_; (from my experience)

Anyway this world is hilarious.

Yeah, my last adventurer went into a town, walked maybe 20 steps, and then suddenly the ground fell in everywhere, taking houses with it.
