New Megabeast: Envoy of Armok. Feedback?
« on: August 31, 2011, 12:13:02 am »

for a bit of backstory this is a bit of inspiration i slammed out in about 10 min but i was thinking that since i see myself as an overseer of sorts in the game that there seemed to be an abscence of armok... but i guess its how you see it.  So anyway i felt that the blood god's presence should be felt a bit more, So this megabeast is what i came up with.

I call it an Envoy of Armok and it is basically the soul of a person(dwarf, human or goblin,{elves dont deserve the honor}but you can't tell which) that has been sacrificed for the blood god which has been materialized into a sort of enormous semi-living weapon.

I made it from a material i came up with called blood metal which is (as far as ive tested) only penetrable by edged blue metal weapons but cannot penetrate blue metal in return(if it can hold back the circus i say it can pierce blood metal) almost every attack either tears apart or severs limbs for maximum blood. It also shoots a bit of gas to make things cough and vomit blood. I meant for it to be something like a final challenge for the strongest of forts. (unless you crush it or something....) and thus i have it attacking when i believe a fort should be fully developed.

Now as a WARNING these things shred and launch steel-clad dwarves as well as bronze collossi (the difference being collossi only fly like 5 tiles)

so heres the raws i came up with:

the creature info
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

the extra body parts
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

and the blood metal material
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
NOTE:you can change this so it can be made into anything you wish, would make nice armor and weapons

to implement, put creature info in creature_standard.txt, body info into body_default.txt, and blood metal into inorganic_metal.txt files (or anything else you wish)

any feedback/constructive criticism would be appeciated, or if anyone objects to me doing this, as im relatively new to this
