Continue with increased disease research funding.  Divert more funding to research in general.  Begin a program to encourage college attendance.

As a temporary member of the UN, Ukraine would like to veto the usage of ICBMs.

As a member of NATO, I...
Do nothing, for the moment. Well except for the regular multinational military exercises.

I pull out all troops from Kosovo, excepting the Liaison Officers. I also pull out every damn Police Officer from countries overseas, and send them to assist China and guard Kazakhstan. I also send a few SBU specialists over there.

I request Russia to speed up their damn weapon shipments, and add in enough AN94s to equip our smaller military.

I also request that our research department works on a new body armor that is not only resistant to firearms, but also clawing and biting, fire, and radiation. Perhaps use some Beryllium or such in the construction.

In addition to those, I work on making the Ministry Of Internal Affairs a model organization.

And finally, I'd like to remind Russia of their damned fleet still being parked on our ports due to lack of their own space.

Nato should send military aid to infected countries.

Japan continues researching REX, and closes borders to any Asian country. As a member of UN, veto nukes, but support military action.
Begin training troops in CQC and usage of REX.

THis sounds fun, count me in!
I'll take the UK I think.
>Upon hearing increasing rumours of a new case of a rabis like diseas in china (the cover ups were lessened, but not removed, correct?) put forward a proposal to the UN to send a W.H.O. team to investigate. (this makes sense politically and such, right? Is that how the UN really works? lol).

In as Britain.

Put Alpha Project into effect, and begin building a massive wall around all of the country to keep out unwanted beings, and such. Also put Projects Dragon, and Rome into action.

Spoiler: Alpha Project (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Dragon Project (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Rome Project (click to show/hide)

Hmm, That's fine, he's put more thought into his turn anyways. I'll just take france (they aren't taken yet, correct?) and use the same order as I did before.

Working on turn three! For now, I refuse some actions (in cases of metagaming or impossible objectives):

-Alpha project is rejected, since the UK is still a democratic country and there is for now no reason to start such a project. Dragon and Rome projects may be accepted, if you give me really good reasons. The UK would not spend billions of dollars because of rumors spread by chinese villagers and another risk of attack on Taïwan.
-After much time thinking, the australian government put their Prime Minister in jail for crimes against humanity and other little things like that. They cancelled most of his orders, except the idea of infiltrating the super powers of the planet (because why not). ((You can still play; just... try not to start impossible actions again... Australia is still democratic. Remember that.))
-Johnfalcon, your actions are refused for metagaming.
-The norway government is open to your suggestions, areyoua... But why? Why, while the current weaponry is much more advanced?
-Even if some ideas are a bit wonky in Russia, they are accepted, even though the lightweight suit is put at extremely low priority.

I think that's all. Working on next turn now.

I thought this was about World War Z, not crazy science fiction government projects that have nothing to do with zombies.

Well my thinking was that the swords would be very useful when fighting zombies. The armor was just to make them look cool. :-[
