We have Ireland, Scotland, and the UK as separate entities with the UK seriously fearing foriegn intervention NATO notwithstanding . . .

Never mind, it seems to be fucked up the right amount.

Open a diplomatic channel with NORWAY!
"Hiya Norway, just thought that I'd say hi, we're wondering about your recent change in infantry tactics away from the proven world standard, as well as your sudden choice to abandon a few decades worth of isolationism and look at joining NATO. Not that we're against it (although, obviously NATO rules give us a veto of your entry if we'd so choose), but we'd just like to hear what you're thinking."

Norway is a part of NATO, and in fact we've always been a part of NATO since its inception. I think that perhaps you mean Sweden?

The change in infantry tactics is clearly going to be advantageous due to the fast-developing armor that will make conventional automatic weapons ineffective and require increased power from our firearms to do anything about.

Anyway, for Norway:

Join EFA, continue with Project Nobel (who was Swedish, but who cares?), and put airports and sea ports on watch for any suspicious characters, such as spies.

Yeah, but that's harder. I assume that making semi-automatics stronger would take less effort and less science than it would take to make automatics stronger. We don't have much time, and I want to get what I can get done before the world goes to hell.

Check status of REX. See, but metal gear 2 didn't have the best boss fight ever. EDIT: And this is bay12. Things are 120% guaranteed  to go FUBAR.

Guys, once I've finished the next turn, could you please post all your ongoing projects in a spoiler after your action post? Som'thing like that:

And another spoiler making a brief summary of your country's defenses.

I'll no longer have to check back all the way to the beginning of the thread to know what are people doing ^^

I am currently working on a geopolitics map (I'll use it to know who is where... It will be helpful when it really begins and I have to check everyone's defenses/plans/nuclear attacks). Once that's done, turn 4.

please tell me you are one of the persons knowing that extreme cold (read like siberia) destroys meat/the body totally instead of being able to go trough it as a zombie since "you dont care" (goddamn zombie guide, able to defrost each summer? dont skip biology).

there is a film "dead snow" it's more of a ROTFL film, but still XD
and physics speaking, you're right, a dead body has no heat, thus ice is bound to stay on the body until it freezes it to place. furthermore it seeps through meat and the like and when summer comes, everything comes crackling down.
point is, maybe you're unlucky, and this zombies are not like napoleon, and attack in summer! with zombie horses! >.>

“Well,” he said. “We’re in the Forgotten hunting grounds I take it. Your screams just woke them up early. Congratulations, Lyara.”
“Do something!” she whispered, trying to keep her sight on all of them at once.
Basileus clapped his hands once. The Forgotten took a step forward, attracted by the sound.
“There, I did something. I clapped. I like clapping,” he said. -The Investigator And The Case Of The Missing Brain.
